We had 10 people for this dinner and it was delightful. A mix of Americans and Indonesians, everyone enjoyed this very good food at moderate prices.

“Best meal of 2 weeks in Bali”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

A delicious dinner (fish wrapped in banan leaf) in a nice setting...a bit upscale from a local Warung but much cheaper than our 5* hotel. In short, well worth going to and perhaps the best meal of our 12 dinners in Bali.

“Nice atmosphere and nice food”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

We were picked up by the owner, who spoke very good English. The restaurant was nicely decorated, two stories and open air. Food was very good, but took quite a while coming and a number of items were not available, but that just reflected that it was all fresh. Deserts looked delicious, but as I didn't have one, I can't comment on what they tasted like. Prices are a little bit higher than elsewhere.

“Worth the extra buck”
Reviewed October 1, 2013 via mobile

I write this review while waiting for my chocolate rice slice dessert. The restaurant is warm and welcoming. Staff are attentive and ask about your preferences and your opinion on the food. The beer was poured and served in a chill glass (nice touch) and prawn crackers were complimentary. Starter was prawn cutlets and consisted of 3. Yes 3 prawns. As delicious as they were, I couldnt help but think that 35,000 idr was quite dear for it. Perhaps 5-6 prawns would have made this dish worth the money. I followed this up with the fish curry. Again this was absolutely delicious, the portion size was just about right but it was the freshness of the ingredients that stood out. Fish was firm and the veg were still crunchy.....Taste of the dessert was scrumptious, though was a shame the dessert was a little dry but discovered because it contains no oil, just a rice and water base. The accompanying orange sauce and dollop of vanilla cream complimented it well. I found this to be the best restaurant I have eaten at during my stay at Permuteran. P.S. The drop into water napkin was a nice touch.

“Really Nice food”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

We ate here on our first night in Pemuteran and their beef satay is one of my best food memories of Bali. The food was generally very nice though they were missing some ingredients. MY wife had shrimp stuffed chicken whilst I had three types of satay, the beef being the best followed by the chicken then the pork. The food was all delicious and the restaurant has a very nice setting elevated off the main road. All in all an excellent meal and for the quality of cooking not too expensive.
