“Greatly recommended !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

We stayed here for 5 nights during low season and enjoyed the tranquility, the excellent service, the beautiful surroundings (sea and mountain views) and the luxury of the room. The hotel has two swimming pools, a bar and a restaurant all within a few meters of the beach... Though occupancy was very low, this did not in any way affect the service and facilities offered. Excursion possibilities through the hotel, this is welcome as Pemuteran isn't very lively. Greatly recommended for a few days of relaxation !

We are repeat visitors! Lovely gardens, rooms are beautiful and staff are really lovely! The only problem is the mosquitoes! Bring your own can of insect spray for your room as they get in through the gaps in the door. If your kids can't go without TV, also bring a portable DVD player. I love the atmosphere of Pemuteran, so relaxing and the local people are so friendly! We will be back!

We stayed in the deluxe sea view room for three days and can highly recommend it. Outside bathroom (partially under roof) no problem in this hot climate. No TV in the room but was not missed. The bed is covered by mosquito net, but it is recommended to use repellant as well. The wooden chairs on the porch flips out to be a recliner which is a nice touch; not so easy to get out of though.

The facilities at the resort is great with two pools on the beach and a highly recommended dive center, Sea Rovers. Groups are limited to 6 guests, which is nice and personal. Local dive sites are good, but the diving at Menjangan is world class and only a short boat trip from the hotel's dive center.

Food and drinks is expensive in the resort, but there are a large number of warungs to the right as you exit the hotel property onto the main road and only a couple of hundred meters walk. Browse the menus on the side walk and take your pick.

The hotel grounds and black volcanic sand beach is spotless. However the beach between the the other resorts is strewn with litter at the high water mark; very disappointing. Snorkling in front of the hotel is low on fish and quite a bit of litter can be seen. The reef rehabilitation project is close by and is commendable, the resorts should combine to clean up the beach environment on a regular basis, or else it will become a case of paradise lost. This is a great pity, as overall it is a great place to stay and relax

Room Tip: Go for deluxe seaview

Adi Assri is a beautiful small hotel in Permuteran on the north coast . We really enjoyed our 3 day stay.
The bungalows are well appointed with air conditioning and typical Balinese outdoor shower. Our room was quite new and thevery friendly staff kept it very tidy and clean with lovely touches like fresh flowers on the bed. The early morning call from the mosque which is nearby will wake you up but we did not find this much of a problem. The surrounding garden is very beautiful, well tended and tranquil. We did not use the 2 pools since we spent enough time in the water being divers. Food is better elsewhere...lots of small places in Permuteran. We would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: go for the newer deluxe garden room with glass doors or the deluxe sea view rooms

I've come as a solo traveller and have loved the tranquility of the place as well as teh diving with Sea Rovers Bali.

There are 2 pools which are beautifully warm and clean. Plenty of sun lounges, umbrellas and towels.

The restaurant does fast and efficient meals with a mix of cuisine. I had steak/eye fillet one night and it was absolutely superb. I ate lunch most days around the pool, there is nothing like a club sandwhich and a cold bintang inbetween dips in the pool.

The cocktails are great. The Induk/Indah specialty is well worth it. Refreshing.

I stayed in the top style room, closest to the dive resort. The room is massive, a huge dressing/bathroom and then the outdoor toilet and bath (undercover and enclosed) looks out to the outdoor shower complete with a gorgeous water feature. The shower is hot which is great even though it was warm when I was here.

The king size bed was very comfortable. Great air conditioning, all fantastic. Just FYI, theres no TV which I was fine with but some people forget to check.

I specifically came here for the Diving with Sea Rovers. They are located on site and wre absolutely fantastic. I've dived around Bali at other places and this was a great surprise.. great vizibility, warm water, a choice of macro and wide angle sites (for Underwater Photographers), and a lot whiter and cleaner sand than other areas.. Definitley check them out for diving or snorkelling whilst here.

Overall a great location if you want something quiet, good quality and reasonably priced. There isnt really much else to do here but relax and dive/snorkel/swim.. but enjoy the serenity.

There is Wi-fi here which was fairly good but every 2 hours you need to get a new password..small frustration but maybe thats to make you swtich off to technology more

Room Tip: go for the. top room. I stayed in 15

Nice bungalows in lovely garden. Pools are great for a swim, don't expect to cool off though. But as soon as you want to eat or drink: leave this place asap! Across the street at Ode Resto, or five minutes walk to the right at Tirta Sari, you'll eat twice as good for half the price.

I stayed in the adi assri resort for 3 nights while traveling around bali with a group. The hotel is set in pretty park-like sourroundings, 2 pools, 2 restaurants and a diving/snorkeling tour operator ( sea rovers) on site.
The room was nice, very comfy bed with mosquito net, well furnished. Air con. Outdoor shower and wc. Pools were clean, enough chaises and towels along pools and beach. Pool bar.

Staff was nice and polite, when i was having problems with the safe somebody came straight away to deal with it. Breakfast was buffet style with a cook preparing the eggs the way you like them, good choice with lots of fruit, homemade jams. One of the best breakfast i had while traveling in bali.

We booked a snokeling trip with sea rovers which was great - they have their own boats leaving straight from the hotel, we had an hour of snokeling, lunch and another hour of snokeling along the reef.

The restaurant was ok but not as gourmet as they tried to be, portions rather small. Drink prices very high for bali standart. There are several warung justvacross the street where we had nice food for dinner twice. Would recommend that rather than eating at the hotel restaurant. Otherwise pemuteran does not offer much, the beach is quite littered. There is a man made reef just of the beach 10 min walk from the hotel which i think is great for kids snorkeling.

A minus is that you can actually hear the muezzin call from the nearby mosque from about 4 in the morning if you are a light sleeper.
