First of all the architecture and the woodwork inside the rooms were incredible! 4 post bed with nets was lovely. We stayed in a private villa (509) and it was wicked. Wished we had booked more than 1 night! We did book the 501 room however they had double booked it. They did try to compensate the mix up and put us in a deluxe room, even though it was amazing, it didn't have the infinity pool which was nearly the whole reason we booked the resort. Without a hitch they showed us another room with an infinity pool and we chose that one instead, within 30 minutes we were in the villa we preferred and straight into the infinity pool!

Dear tyler112017,

Warmest greetings from the Ayung Resort Ubud - Where Dreams Come True

Thank you for taking the time to share your pleasant memories at Ayung Resort Ubud.

When we first read your review we could not help it but smile. It was a pleasure to know that you had a pleasant stay with us.

Please accept our apologies for the mixed up on your reservation, allow us to inform you that actually we were trying to upgrade your reservation to Deluxe One Bedroom Villa. However the only Deluxe Villa left is 501. It was not a double book, once again we do apologies for the inconvenient caused on your holiday.

One day is not enough to explore the uniqueness of Ayung Resort Ubud, we do hope that you can stay more than one day on your next visit to our beautiful resort.

On behalf of the team here,

Magdalena Yoseva
Director of Sales

Service is exceptional. Great value for money. Unique experience, the feeling of being deep in the jungle but with the benefit of a luxury environment. Breakfast is a highlight overlooking the gorge, rice field ad river. Explore the large grounds and see deer and river rapids. 20min from Ubud markets. Very peaceful and great pool in the bottom main facility. Be careful if you are getting a villa as the sun may not be on the pool for long depending on site.

Stayed here for only 3 nights, should have stayed a bit longer if I could. Very peaceful atmosphere with amazing surrounding scenes. Beds were very comfortable and I think breakfast was my favorite part. Normally don't eat breakfast, but I somehow managed to try everything on their all inclusive a la cart breakfast menu. Staff were superb from check-in through check-out. Dying to go back for another vacation

Room Tip: Dont miss the breakfast!

Stunning views as you eat breakfast on roof terrace. Staff absolutely brilliant, nothing too much trouble, service excellent and food amazing. Would definitely recommend. Just one more thing - wish we were staying longer. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

First of all: for Bali it might be one of the best hotels. But do not expect everything in perfect. It is not Europe or the organization level of Germany... :-D ;-) The hotel rests a bit on its good reviews of the last years. If you look a bit more precisely for the cleanliness, you can see that the staff just can not work at European level. That's OK. The worst thing is the ordering system at breakfast. It is praiseworthy if you do not offer a buffet to save money and also valuable food. If the staff always brings things then, which one has not ordered, the strategy destroys. More meaningful, the guests would have a kind of slip, on which they can tick, exactly what they want to eat. This works with the staff not completely 100%, but better than with the oral order.
