I went once after saw the waterfall i went here with my husband, get ginger tea and coffee and desert kolak Pisang was delicious, the price is reasonably good, it was almost sunset and i feel wont to leave but we hurry to shower at hotel after one day busy tour, the next day i want again to come here but closed after 5pm, i realize this place is a family restaurant and open until sunset only, so u cant dinner here...

We passed this restaurant on our car trip from Lovina to the lakes and back.
Beautiful view, see photo, cool climate, lovely little dog who played with our kids (summer 2009), friendly staff, yummy soup. We had a table outside in a little gazebo.

We will be back in Munduk in summer 2011 and we certainly go back to this place to have a lunch here

If you are traveling the middle (of three) main north-south routes of Bali, then this restaurant is easy to reach by taking the scenic road next to the two crater lakes.
The other access is from the north-west via kilometers/miles of small winding roads where you get to see the real and non-touristy Bali.
The restaurant is perched on top of the mountain, in a steep curve of the road (hence a lower [large] and higher [small] parking. It consists of a main restaurant, open to the outside and several private tables on little terraces at different levels.
When the clouds open (or are absent) the view is simply stunning. But what comes on your plate is also worthwhile. We tried several dishes (mainly indonesian) and they were all nice. The banana pancakes were the best we had during our trip (beware: the portion for one is big, and better for sharing if you had something before).
