Been here on and off for yrs i grew up around it but gss changes staff like you would your cloths,we went there sat morning nothing to brag about.waited to be seated could of had tables but just like one local sippen coffee alone instead at the bar at a table for 4.The portions were good and food was cooked just right but gravy was a bummer sure it was out of a can or something pretty pasty, and you could tell they don't use fresh ingrediants and thats sad it would be great if the owners really tried to make it a one of a kind oh well traditions gone all about in and out the door.

Certainly not a pretentious dining atmosphere, but a casual cafe. Comfort food abounds here with a few healthy choices to be found. Daily specials often breakfast, lunch and dinner are a super value often less than $7.00 - some come with 3 sides and a home made dinner roll... This place is hopping on Saturdays and Sundays - 6am til 2pm. M-F 6am til 8pm have quieter moments. The staff is typically quite friendly with good service. The only thing I miss are the homemade pies and desserts... What they offer is quite good but it's just not the same anymore...

The value for lunch here is incredible. You get 3 sides, and if you get a piece of pie, you are still under $10. The food is very good cafe food, served fast, in a unique environment. Our waitress was top notch, very professional. I will come here again and again. This is food like Mom used to make.

Englewood Cafe may not look like much but don't judge the book by it's cover. The restaurant has been around for a while and I have been enjoying their food of and on over the past 10 years. I took some friends who had never eaten there before to the café. When reviewing the menu their first comment was “You are kidding, they actually have an open-faced roast beef sandwich.” They serve comfort food at reasonable prices; their pies (even sugar free) are fantastic. As I said, I have been making Englewood a ‘must-stop’ for years and I always see some of the same friendly serving staff.
