Three Brothers Bungalows

We had a great stay here. The hotel appears to be an old budhist temple with bungalows placed in a beautiful garden. Really nice.

Our bungalow was #11 and was very large with the bed with mosquito net on the upper floor. We had a really amazing bathroom that looks like an little private garden with bath and shower.

Breakfast is nice with bacon and eggs, toast, coffee , tea and juice.
The hotel is in a street with some bars and restaurants, but we didn't hear anything in the room.
It's a short walk from the beautiful Legian beach.

I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had Bungalow 11 - very nice !

I loved the Three Brothers bungalows. I felt safe and looked after, and the staff were easy to talk to. The breakfast was really nice, the bathrooms were beautiful and it seemed like a four star hotel. After a long flight or a day walking around in the crazy streets, chillen by the pool in the gorgeous gardens of the Three Brothers is the best... the only thing that was annoying was no wifi!
I felt really sorry for the monkey in the cage and it is just a stupid novelty. If I return to 3 brothers I will complain about it.

When we first arrived at 2 am, tired and frustrated from our flights, and were led through the dark gardens and arch ways by our porter, we weren't really sure about this place however the next morning when I woke and walked out onto the balcony I realised I was in a beautiful oasis. We had the room upstairs next to the restaurant and although basic it had just that perfect balinese feel that you just cant get at bigger hotel chains. The bathrooms were definatly the hero of the room with the pebbeled floor. Probably my only niggle would be a lack an inroom safe and wifi. Location is great, beach only a short stroll and many restaurants and shops all in walking distance. The staff around the grounds were friendly. The included breakfast was alright I suppose, nothing special. Three brothers is pretty much on par for what you pay for, good value.

been to three brothers 3 times already. I can recommend room 33, 36 and 40. Definitely the best one was 33. Those are a bungalow's ground floor - one room with an open bathroom with no ceiling! lovely idea! Although since 2011 it is getting more and more expensive, it is still a nice place, where you can get rest from all those hawkers screaming ay mate, masasss, transport, transport boss etc..

There is a small cage in the garden of the Three Brothers in Bali, with a single monkey in it. This is cruel as monkeys are social animals and need a proper space to move and climb. This monkey definitely showed frustrated behaviour. I recommend not to stay in the Three Brothers, until they give this animal a better home.

Thank you for your review at our bungalows, let us explain to you history about the monkey in cage. It’s necessary you to know, that monkey have been here for 30 years ago, because a long time ago here it was swamp

We has already brought her to wild nature ( sangeh – bali ), but in there she had a lot of attack from her kind because she is new member and looks like stranger for the others monkey staying there before, for a long time and had to fight to getting some food

And than we make a decision to get her back to protect and give the comfortable place for her like a big cage with small house made from wood ornament including spot for food n drink water realy safe and sound.

After that many guest at our bungalows is realy happy to play with her and give her food everyday until they gave a name for the monkey because they realy love with the monkey and the monkey is realy friendly with human.

We hope you no need to worry about the monkey and wish you will be our guest for your next holiday and enjoying our others facilities .
Thank you very much.

Kind Regards
Pradana Wicaksana

Lots of classic Bali style - unlike sharp edge glass and steel big hotels. Had deluxe room with fan - huge - nice outdoor bathroom (covered) - but this means NO windows! just blinds.. which originally I thought 'oh no'... but it was terrific to have an outlook over the greenery and still private. Felt very tropical holiday. Pool terrific. Walk to beach and lots of places to eat and drink.

Room Tip: Go for Deluxe with fan - Standard are smaller and ground floor.

Stayed for 4 nights in the deluxe suite with a/c and outdoor bathroom.
Definitely do not recommend outdoor bathroom when raining as the toilet area gets wet and slippery. Room was basic but nice and modern, certainly worth the price we paid.
The pool is really nice and always clean and perfect temperature.
A lovely and peaceful place to stay, hard to believe its so serene and quiet given how busy it is once you step onto the street.
Highly recommend staying here. We will be back
