A lovely villa, a little out of the way but a short walk to Jl Legian for shopping, massages and good restaurants. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a large daybed near the pool for relaxing on. The provided soap and shampoo wasn't very nice and best to take your own. Only a short walk to Ayu Spa on Jl Nakula where Sari gives the best massages.

Room Tip: Room 502 was on the ground floor with a daybed on the verandah, behind a screen of plants for privac...

We had 7 days at Villa Diana recently, with a number of friends and we found the staff friendly but the accommodation lacking. Rooms are very basic and the air-conditioning did not work (very hot and humid). The location is not ideal and is a fair walk to anywhere you need to get to. Taxi's can be called but you can wait a fair while for them to arrive. I guess you get what you pay for. My advice is spend a few dollars more and get better quality accommodation. If you are on a tight budget, this may be ok for you.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon here. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and it wasn't enough to cover the tourist attractions in Bali. Staffs are super friendly, place is clean, calm and quiet, and beautifully decorated. When we arrived we were informed that the next day was "Nyepi Day" (direct translation means day of silence or quiet day), a day that marks the beginning of the year, and that no one was allowed to go out. we were kinda bummed about that, but spending the whole day in the villa turned out to be a great idea for honeymoon couples. we relaxed under the small hut by the pool and enjoyed the breeze and had coconut drinks. Nearby there's a place where you can rent a motorcycle locally called 'spedar' and you can ride about the city. However, we got stopped by the police who waited in their police bit, they accused us for crossing the white line at the traffic light when we absolutely did not. he asked for a bribe of IDR300,000 and we had to give in because he had our keys. bad for tourism. just keep an eye for the police waiting at the traffic light junctions. apart from that, riding the spedar from town to town was absolutely adventurous and a must-try! we made it to Uluwatu and Suluban beach down south in a 45minute drive!

Room Tip: for honeymoon trips to this villa, kindly request them beforehand that it is your honeymoon trip. th...

I booked this hotel for the Christmas-New Year period. My usual haunts were full. In the main I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and helpful. The deluxe rooms and junior suites were very nice with clean, spacious bathrooms. The only thing I could fault then on is that shampoos etc should have been replaced more regularly. The swimming pool was great but it's not very deep. Garden furniture was very comfortable.
Inside the hotel it was a pleasant and relaxing place to be. Breakfast I thought could have been more exciting with the addition of a few extra dishes or cold meats. I ate an evening meal once in the hotel and it was fine but they are quite restricted in what they can offer due to a very small kitchen.
The main problem here is the location which is set back quite far from Jl Legian. But it is walkable. But if you are going to the beach you'll need a taxi. All in all I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Villa Diana and would consider it again.

What I'm about to say has nothing to do with the hotel but I thought I had better say it as a warning to other travellers. I have been many times to Bali but this was the first time I had so much of a problem trying to find an honest taxi driver. Bluebird are usually honest if you can get one but at peak times you may have to resort to the others. Many of the taxi drivers just said 10 dollars (about 95,000 Rupiah) to go anywhere which is actually outrageous considering the short distances you are going in most cases. Don't be afraid to bargain but some will just drive off. It is a shame this is happening and it is bound to have an adverse effect on tourism in Bali if these practices continue.

At first glance, we thoughtwe'd made a mistake a the property was down a side street by the "river". However we soon discovered we were a short walk or a $2 (20 000R) taxi ride from the shops, restuarants and action of Seminyak. Th bonus was a quiet, peaceful retreat.

The villas are new;deluxe rooms are large, well lit andairconditoned; suites have a huge bathroom with separate shower as well as a bath.3 bedroom villas have private pools.

Pool is really great and well maintained.

Restuarant offers a good and varied breakfast (included) and snacks and meals, both Indonesian and Western. Free tea and coffee is available 24/7.

We found the staff very helpful, and will definatey choose to stay here again.

Hotel was a bit old, but maintained quite well. I stayed in a room with a terrace and a day bed and a private pool shared by 3 other rooms (I didn't book that but they put us in that room), which was nice. I didn't really like the lighting in the room as it was too dim for me. The room had an outdoor rain shower which was nice and somehow romantic. Location was good, only 15 mins walk to Double Six beach. Breakfast was just so-so, need more variation. But the pool was nice and clean and it was quite big.
Free wifi in the bedroom but the reception in our room was really bad, you couldn't even barely get signal for phone calls and texts, let alone wifi. Also when we arrived we had problem with the toilet flush but they sent someone to fix it immediately. Overall the whole stay was just okay and could be an option for someone with limited budget.

Great little boutique hotel but 15 min walk away from everything but in my opinion worth it. A few little maintainence issues but nothing outrageous and certainly nothing different from any other Asian country resets big or small
