We stayed here Feb 2013. We were in a room on the second floor on the right side of the hotel, next to Mozzarellas Restaurant (excellant). We had a view of Kuta Beach from our front door and balcony at the other side of room. Room was adequate, very clean and in good order. Pool bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and talkative (especially Mini). We would always return to the hotel pool (infinity pool) with a view over Kuta Beach. In the pool with a cold drink watching the sunset over the Kuta beach. Stunning !!

The Niksoma was the first place we stayed at on our first trip to bali and we were blown away! The website images and photos on Trip Ad visor don't do this boutique resort any justice! Its just meters away from the beach and both pools are amazing! All staff were so helpful and so friendly!!! We were a young couple who stayed here for 5 nights to move onto Ubud and we didnt want to leave. After staying at another two different spots on our holiday we wish we had of stayed at the Niksoma the whole time! Just amazing!

Room tip: we were moved from a bottom room to upstairs as our key wasnt working the bottom floored room smelt a little damp but it was the wet season :)

Just returned from 2 wonderful weeks at Bali Niksoma.
We have stayed here with another couple for many years and always enjoy
the warm welcome we receive on arrival.
As is often said the true strength of this hotel is the fantastic staff.  That never changes.
We had dinner at the Hitana restaurant several times, the prices are extremely competitive and the food was very good. They  have live music on Wednesday night which is a fun night- ( many people get up and dance)
We always enjoy the complimentary cocktail party Monday night and the afternoon tea Wednesday and Friday.   A great way to meet other people staying at the hotel.
The hotel had  a few new things to do this trip.
Cooking classes run by the chef and staff from the Niksoma-
Its on the lawn area..you choose 2 courses- when you have finished the lesson,
you get to sit at a table and enjoy what you have made. Yum.
Our group  cooked spring rolls and  nasi gorang.... ( thought l might be able make them when i got home but haven't tried yet) .
And the other new thing was the  " Saturday Sunset Session"
4.30pm - 6.30pm...   Live DJ performance of mixed music.. It is set up on the deck area which over looks the ocean,  you can watch the sunset -a very relaxing way to spend Saturday afternoon.
With  many new hotels and so many beautiful villa's in Bali we  sometime ask each other  "should we  be trying somewhere else??? But the answer is always ....NO.....
We love this hotel and it's wonderful staff.  We always have a fantastic holiday here. Why would you go somewhere else????????
Thank you everyone at Bali Niksoma.

It's been 5 years since I stayed at this hotel. And it just gets better. The location is to die for (right on the beach in Legian), the pool area is great. Rooms are small and you'd be lucky to glimpse the ocean from any of the balconies, but the beds are comfy, the room well maintained and clean. The highlight: many of the same staff from more than 5 years ago. What a delight! They're mature, experienced, confident and oh so friendly. They'll greet you by name after the first morning, and have your favourite coffee ordered as you enter the restaurant. Best option on this stretch of beach. Can't wait to get back again.

Room tip: Request a high floor sneaking a view of the ocean. Try for the room on the first floor closest to the pool.

We stayed at niksoma for the second time late April but this time with our 18 month old. We were not sure what too expect but the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Every day they would welcome you to breakfast with a smile and genuinely looked after all the guests.
We stayed in a junior suite which was ground level surrounded by beautiful gardens and a short walk to the pool area. It was a home away from home!
We changed to a large '5 star' hotel after a week for our last 4 nights but never again, the service, staff and ability to relax at niksoma was much more enjoyable and relaxing.

We will be back for another visit!
