The pool area is lovely. We spent a few relaxing afternoons lounging and enjoying the daily happy hour and DJ playing vibey music. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with a pool view and balcony, bringing the pool vibe into the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A short walk to the beach, restaurants and mini marts. Only downside is the location relative to the kuta area, it's a bit difficult to get to kuta area, but with taxis you can get there in about 20mins.

This Stone hotel is part of Autograph Collection, Marriott Group and located in Legian, very close to Kuta and Legian beaches. I recently spent 1 night on a business trip here.
They don’t have lounge but provide free breakfast in lieu of it, and also free return airport transfers for Titanium members - an excellent benefits.
They have also reached me via email and confirm the upgrade to suite room with pool view before arrival - a really very good services.... which are much better to their neighbour (Sheraton Kuta Beach Resort who only provide average benefits). The General Manager also sent a nice note, and a delicious layer cake and fresh coconut water - thank you very much, truly appreciate it.
The suite room was nice and clean, comes with comfortable bed and nice bathroom with double shower and bathtub at the balcony overlooking the pool, a very nice and unique design.
One thing below expectation is quality and selection of foods during breakfast, which is just average. Furthermore, it is disappointing they don’t serve real bacon (pork bacon) but only beef bacon - considering it is a five stars hotel located in Bali. They also have bars and serve alcohol, so not serving pork due to religious reason for a five stars hotel in Bali is little bit strange to me. If they can improve on this matter I believe they will deserve a full 5 stars rating.
I would recommend this hotel over Sheraton Kuta resort nearby, especially if you are Marriott elite members, and breakfast is not that important to you.

Stayed at the hotel the first week of September. Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff and great location. Definitely recommend and we will be back. Thank you The Stones.

Tip: the tiny convenience store near the entrance of the hotel does same day laundry and it was really cheap.

This hotel was highly recommended to us for our recent trip as having 5star rating. In many aspects this was the case but we found a few areas in desperate need for improvements. Whereas the pool was a joy to the eye we quickly found it to be difficult and dangerous to access for people with mobility impairments. Only one set of steps with a handrail was available at the far end of the pool. Other steps leading to the pool were hard to distinguish due to lack of identifiable edging and no handrails. The spa was totally inaccessible to my wife who had some mobility issues. Extremely hard to get in and impossible to get out without considerable help from others. Breakfast at the restaurant was generous and much appreciated. However, eating there at other times was expensive and over rated, especially the so-called 'special' food nights (Seafood, Italian, etc.). Staff were friendly, well mannered and always willing to assist. Rooms were well kept and comfortable with great views of the pool.

After a day out in the hustle and bustle of busy Kuta and Legian, what a wonderful little oasis this hotel is. The staff were all so attentive and always smiling. Ask for a high floor for your room, ours was on the top floor and just perfect, although our preference would be probably not to have a bath on the balcony and have more room to sit, but maybe others would make use of the bath, we just thought it was a waste of space. The restaurant was very good, with different types of food each night. Breakfast was also very good. We will be back!!!!
