First time to the Stones I was quite amazed with their open space design. You can very much enjoy the calm climate from anywhere within their huge lobby space.
A bit of disappointment when check-in there was system failure so we have to wait about 25 mins, but it was ok, because they apologize and offered us a freshly squeezed juice while waiting.
One of the highlight with this hotel is their breakfast buffet. You can pretty much indulge yourself with anything that you can imagine of... sweets donut, healthy salads, salmon cuts, and other Balinese delicacies.
One downside was our neighbours that are big family making quite a noise because they were running around on the hallway for the whole day.
But overall, it was a very much unbelievable experience for us, will definitely come back.

Thank your very much for your review.

We do apologise over the check-in incident and really do apologise over the system issue. At the same time, it's sad to hear about noise caused by the families that were very noisy along the corridors. We would appreciate if you could inform us on this so that we could speak to the guests concerned.

It's nice to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast offerings which cover the Western, Indonesian and Balinese delicacies.

Thank you for your review and we look forward to having you back with us again soon.

This was our second visit to the stones hotel in legian. This time we stayed for 10 nights and were not disappointed. From the minute you check in the service is amazing. The team are always friendly , approachable and nothing is to much trouble. Rooms are immaculate and are serviced when ever required. You can lay in a bath tub on your balcony and listen to the saxophone player, watch a fire juggler or just listen to the variety of live music. Every night there was something different on offer .Security and personal privacy rate high on their list. Service around the pool, both food and drink are great and the team are good at remembering what your favourites are. Breakfast options are vast. You can have a healthy choice of fruit, yoghurt and cereal. Eggs any way. Asian options or even waffles and ice cream as my partner choose on several occassions. The only down side about breakfast was that it seemed difficult to get a cup of tea or coffee and when you did, it was luke warm. The pool is amazing, rooms amazing, food and drinks amazing and the service is impeccable. I Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Cant wait for our next visit

Check in was lovely, the little touches here really make it what it is, fruit and jucie round the pool free of charge the towel and ice lolly upon arriving, the freindliness of the staff.

it is just far enough from the craziness of Kuta, but not too far if you do want to go to a very clubs!

The breakfast is one of the best i have ever had, so much choice and all delicious.

Really great facilities in the room, ipod dock, hair dryer, flat screen TV, water, coffee machine.

Just 2 minutes away from the beach i would highly reccomend this hotel and would stay again!

It was our first trip to Bali and we had no idea where to stay. Our travel agent recommended The Stones Hotel Legian Bali.
He told us all about the hotel and I must admit it sounded too good to be true! Well as I quickly found out I was wrong. It was everything he said and more!
For us it was paradise in Bali. Our room was spectacular, king size bed, balcony over looking the pool, bath tub on the balcony, coffee machine the list goes on and on. All of the amenities one needs and more but the thing that stood out to us the most were the staff at the Stones
. Every single person that we dealt with was genuinely there to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They greeted us every day with such infectious smiles. A few staff members stood out especially to us. Lovely Nanum who greeted us every morning for our breakfast. She would show us to our table and just made us feel so special. Nanum was extremely professional and made us feel as if we were the only guests there. Botax another staff member took care of all our lovely cocktails and drinks. He also gave us lots of information about things to do in Bali. Nia the very professional assistant manager together with Botax made a very memorable night for me on my birthday which i celebrated in a private cabana over looking the pool. They lit candles and even sang happy birthday to me and provided a cake!
We were lucky enough to meet the restaurant manager Gede Samiada after speaking to him we realize why the staff and restaurant run so smoothly. Gede is very respected by his staff.
I can go on and on about The Stones Legian but you need to experience it yourself. We can not wait until our next break to return.
You would be very hard to please if you find any fault at The Stones.

Thank you everyone for making our stay there so incredible.

Regards to all at The Stones Legian

Floria and Mumin

Room Tip: Pool view with a tub on the balcony. An absolute must. Room 227 was perfect

We arrived early and our room was ready before check in time. However they offered us a free upgrade if we were willing to wait for guests to check out.
We waited and had lunch by the pool while enjoying a bit of a swim.
When we checked in... WOW!!... the room was more than double the size of our original booking.
It is clear why this is a 5 star hotel.
Can not fault the room.. well actually.. the shower smells a tad when you first turn it on... and the fridge, like many have written, isn't cold enough.
The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety. They even squeeze fresh juice for you.
The pool is huge and has a lot of tanning areas. The jacuzzi was nice too. There is a swim up bar and a shallower pool, but probably not shallow enough for young children.
Service was excellent and although everytime you go back, you have to go thru a metal detector and x-ray bags, it's just to ensure your own safety. All cars are also checked for explosives, although the dog didn't really seem that alert.
Location is a road across from the beach and a short stroll to the Beachwalk shopping centre.
There's a money exchanger up the road, round the bend after the Pullman hotel. It's a legit store. Watch out for the many money exchangers with a stand. go to the stores and make sure you're the last person that counts the money AT the counter.

Thank you very much for your Trip Advisor review.

It's a delight to hear that you enjoyed your Stones experience. The paid room upgrade, the 3000 square meters swimming pool, the food and beverage offerings and the service by the Talents are the key moment of yours which are part of the experience that we've carved out for our guests while staying with us.

We do apologise over the smell from the shower area which we will investigate and at this moment, we are also redoing the mini bar fridge compartment.

Thank you very much for your review.

We stayed one week at The Stones. The check-in time is 3pm and we arrived around noon but we had to wait only 15 minutes to get to our room. Not like some other hotels where they make you wait three hours unless you upgrade. As always you have to give a deposit when you arrive. Unfortunately, the hotel accidentally ended up taking three times the sum they intended which was a quite a lot of money. It took a few days to figure things out with our bank which was pretty annoying. We stayed in the standard room which was very nice. No view but it didn't bother us. It was our first time at Bali so we didn't spend that much time in the room anyway. The pool is very nice. Too bad it closes really early. The gym was surprisingly good. If I set aside what happened with our credit card, this is a wonderful hotel and we would definitely stay here again. Not five stars but 4,5.

Thank you very much for your Trip Advisor review.

We do apologise for the pre-authorization amount and we will investigate this with the front desk team. On a brighter note, it's great to hear that you receive a check-in to your room.

The swimming pool is opened from 8am to 8pm and the reason we close the pool early is to ensure that the guests in the pool view rooms can have a quiet rest towards the later evening. We are also glad to hear that you enjoyed the gym that is open 24 hours for our guests.

Thank you very much for your review and we look forward to having you back with us again soon.

This was our last stop on our honeymoon and was a perfect place to wrap up our trip. The hotel is set back from everything but easily accessible to everything Kuta. We spent 2 nights at the Stones and had the opportunity to enjoy the pool and various other amenities. The brunch at the restaurant is not to be missed. Hey have everything from fresh juice to ice cream available.

Thank you very much for your Trip Advisor review.

Due to the romantic nature and setting of the hotel and it’s nice to hear that we were part of your marital bliss experience in Bali.

Please do allow me to clarify the brunch that you mention is actually our breakfast which is open daily from 0630hrs till 1100hrs at the Stones Kitchen. Great to hear that you enjoyed the spread we placed for you daily!

We really look forward to welcoming you back for your anniversary next year and thank you so much for your review.
