I have never been inclined to write a review for any hotel before this. I have been to Bali several times and have always stayed in 5 star hotels, but this hotel was amazing, not just because it is 6 months old, but because the staff there were amazing. We all know the Balinese are lovely people, but the staff at The Stones went above and beyond. This was our first family vacation to Bali as the kids had never been there before and the staff not only made us feel but also made the children feel so important, and literally just could not do enough for us. The food was amazing, the rooms lovely and clean and fresh, the pool was beautifully done and even came with a show of fire dancers in the evening which was great. The bed was so comfortable and they even provided epson salts and bath bombs (amazing) to soak in the lovely bath tub. If you want to have a family holiday or even a couples holiday this is a place you will remember. A special thank you to the General Manager who went above and beyond to make this a trip one to remember. Don't forget to check out the top of one of their restaurants there where there are 4 spas and a plunge pool, where you can get a drink or eat and then use the pools, especially lovely to go there to watch the sun go down. A must see.

Room Tip: We enjoyed being in a corner room not looking over the pool as we prefer our room to be quiet, howev...

When we first book the hotel, we never expected the luxury that come with it. Normally those thing you would associate with the hotels in Nusa Dua area and not at Legian. The hotel was perfect in every department. The room was spacious and clean, the restaurant was fantastic and of course, the tub at the balcony. They have a friendly staff that is very accommodative. Just one thing I want to remind and share with everybody, be careful; you might end up spend more time in the room than exploring Bali :) . It was that good!

We are currently staying At The Stones hotel in Legian in an adjoining room with our teenage children.
Have been here for one week with 3 days to go. We have been really impressed with the hotel facilities. The pool is just fantastic and our room clean and well appointed. The staff are really great and cannot do enough for us. The hotel is set back far enough from the hustle and bustle of the busy main road and the beach a stones throw away. We have really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it. Look forward to returning.

Room Tip: Choose pool facing rooms on higher floors as you can see the beach from your balcony as well as pool...

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days, finding the hotel as a mystery deal on whatif and paid $140 a room a night. The accommodation was very comfortable with either your own spa on the ground floor room or a private balcony bath on higher floor rooms. The bed and pillows were fabulous allowing a very restful sleep. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast which was included in the price was simply an indulgence and meant we did not need to eat anything until dinner time. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Room Tip: If you want a spa ask for a ground floor room.

What a great place this was, mystery deal put us in a pool view room 1st floor, big bath on the patio overlooking pool, room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was a huge hit as it has a large range of Indonesian food (which was cooked very well) as well as the normal western fare. Good location whether you are just doing a short or long stint, I am guessing it won't remain a mystery deal for too long, was great value.

Staying for a night at The Stones Legian, surprisingly with a brand of Marriott Autograph Collection it was really a surprised to find out the hotel service is below what is expected from a certain brand.

In fairness that they are newly opened, the standard of staffs are not being met accordingly.

The rooms are definitely as expected from a great hotel.

The restaurant that served breakfast was a messed during the breakfast time, no one accept us as we enter the restaurant, then after a while the waitress is going around from one table to another asking the room number of the guest, which definitely is something the should do before the guest is being seated.

With an opened kitchen design, they need to ensure that cleanliness is being shown through out.
The view of the pool is amazing beautiful with the design yet they need to inform guest to wear proper swimwear inside the pool instead of a soak shirt and walking to the restaurant with wet shirts and towel.

To make sure when the guest enter the room the understand how to close the curtain in the balcony, as some guest don’t really understand how to do it properly and create such a mess view from the pool side.

With this brand to keep, it will be great for the hotel management to make sure on the staffing the allocation of each resources to meet their standard.
