I would recommend the Magani Hotel by far the best hotel in Legion. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Also it is in a great area in Legion, 2 minutes walk to the beach.

This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. Totally worth staying in the suite rooms with your own pool. The main pool is abit small for a 5 star hotel but wasn't a big issue for me.

The buffet breakfast does not have as much variety compared to the Hard Rock Hotel or Stones Autograph Hotel. I think there is room for improvement in this area.

The hotel spa is excellent and the best that I have had so far in Bali. It is very reasonably priced too.

This hotel is further away from the shopping malls in Kuta but it suited me fine as there was plenty of other touristy restaurants and market/shops around.

You will not regret staying here.

From the moment you get there to the time you leave, you cant fault the Magani. We have stayed at a lot of places in Legian and apart from The Padma this is the best so far! We had a room that's balcony didn't overlook the pool and we loved it as it was so quite, which I had requested a quite room. I think the ones overlooking the pool can be very very noisy so ours was perfect. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Youdah at the pool bar was so attentive and friendly. The security outside was always happy and helpful ingetting traffic stopped so you could cross the otherside of the very busy Melasti street. Location location location is all I can say for all those who love the Legian area like we do. The spa although double the street prices is fantastic, so quite and relaxing, unlike the street spas so well worth the money and it is only $12 !!! We had a 10 night stay and I cant speak highly enough of this hotel. I'll Be Back :)

Room Tip: If you like a quite room get one at the back of the hotel and not facing the pool. We had room 2024

The magani is brad new and well located in Legian. It is not on the beach but is only a five minute short walk for those who like us enjoy an early morning swim.

Staff are very attentive and helpful. The rooms are well finished, large and comfy. we dined in several times and the food meals were well priced, generous servings and a godd variety of styles to meet guest needs.

We visted their spa several times for some indulgence and though it is a little more costly than some of the spas on the streets compared to what you would have to pay in Sydney for the same treatments it was great value. So much so that we spent our last afternoon for 3 hours there!!! Massage, manicure and pedicure before we went downstairs to reception to collect our luggage and head to the airport feeling relaxed and pampered to the tips of our fingers and toes.

The Magani is owned by the same family that owns the Niksoma beach resort an d the Mozzarella resturants - they know how to treat their guests.

windows are double glazed - we were very impressed with that as anyone who has been to Bali knows that noise can sometimes be an issue.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the Eastern side of the building (non- laneway side) and on level 3 - 4 unless you...

Excellent, personal service from all staff, including counter staff, the cleaners and even security guards outside who will greet you with a smile. The guards are extremely on the ball and will get you a cab immediately when you need.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Only downside is that I got a room with the balcony that did not face the swimming pool. Not a deal breaker.

Breakfast buffet is good but can get repetitive after a few days.

Spa is great but more expensive than those outside the hotel. However, it is clean and cozy and worth the extra bucks.

Welcome and goodbye drinks are an icing on the cake.

Well done Magani!

Room Tip: Choose one with balcony facing the pool.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early November, our check in was late and the staff were wonderful and we were not keep waiting long at all to be taken to our room, facilities were fantastic, staff so friendly, nothing was a problem, to even bringing afternoon flat white coffee to our room, and ice the mini fridge was cheap too.
bar staff by the pool are so friendly and quickly remember your order and your room number, food by the pool was so well priced.
Spa is fantastic and so well priced we had body massage body scrub and facial for $20 not worth leaving resort for, breakfast was good and there is enough choice.
Value for money this is a great hotel....it's not a resort staff are wonderful
We will definitely be back.

Had a great holiday at the Magani. The hotel is in a great location. We had a gorgeous room with our own private spa. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Definitely deserves it's number 1 rating. When we go back to Bali with the kids, I think we will stay at a different hotel. But if it was just the two of us, we would stay there.
