“Has Mugshot Coffee changed hands?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

When we came to Bali in 2010, the owner of this cafe had a big presence in the store. She reassured us that the salads were washed in purified water, discouraged hawkers from coming into the seating area and even gave us a printed 'ready reckoner' card with the exchange rate and equivalent AUD/rupiah amounts on it.
Needless to say, last trip we went to Mugshot every day. It was wonderful.

This trip, no owner. The salads weren't crisp and delightful like I'd remembered. Guys selling dvds and kids trying to sell bracelets kept approaching the table which meant we kept having to say no throughout our meals and feel nervous about our bags.
And people smoking throughout the place. Yuck. Just not as good as last time.

“Best coffee in Bali”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

Forget Starbucks, Black Canyon or Gloria Jeans. We own a franchised Australian coffee shop (8 yrs) and are accredited Baristas. This little place serves a seriously good coffee. Australian owned (no, we do not know the owners), without any doubt they serve the best coffee we have ever had in 20 trips to Bali .

“Best Coffee”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

This little gem was a fantastic find! Delicious coffee, yummy breakfasts on offer, you can have your "mugshot" taken for a small donation to charity as well a library of books to buy from. Great little brochure on front counter with tips on money conversion from AUD as well as handy works to know. Wifi avaialable and Australian owned, will def be visiting Mugshots again on our next visit
