We stayed at the Padma for 4 nights and it was great.

The rooms are excellent (we had the standard room) and feature everything you could possibly want, a great bed, massive TV and a bathroom that was absolutely magnificent.
There are 2 massive pools, both with bars in , lots of restaurants to choose from (I recommend the Japanese one and especially the teppenyaki night), a gym, games center and much more. The food and drink was however very expensive but really nice and well worth the price and it more than lives up to its 5 star billing, however if your looking for a cheaper alternative there are a few great local places to chow.

A great place to stay.

Our first family trip to Bali was made that more special by our stay here at this fantastic resort! Everything we could need was here. The staff were amazing - this included the pool attendents, cleaners, reception and restaurant staff. Even the security guards were great!! Breakfast each morning was unbelieveble!! The choice varied each day and there was always something new and delicious to try!! The gardens were immaculate, and the artwork throughout the resort was spectacular. The prices (for food, drink, gifts etc) within the Padma were more than what you would pay outside but were still reasonable by Australian standards. The kids club was a bit disappointing for us. We have 4 daughters (from 3 to 12 years old). The younger ones were well catered for, but my 10 and 12 year olds refused to go again after one visit. They were only allowed to use Hockey table and games on PC (which were in Indonesian!).
Overall, we had a brilliant time here. We stayed for 10 days but would easily have stayed for more!
Tip: For fantastic massage and nail treatments try Santai Spa (just passed the CBA Atm) around the corner from the resort. The BEST 30 min massage for 40000 rp ($4)!!

Room Tip: We stayed in interconnecting Deluxe Suite near the Lagoon pool.

We tossed up between many hotels and settled on Padma, which I haven't stayed at before. We got a deluxe room (run of house) but we were going to get a garden club room, Glad we save the extra $100/night and stayed in deluxe room. So big and comfortable bed - we didn't need a bigger room for the 2 of us. Best run of house rooms I have ever stayed in. Nothing is a problem here, on the first night we were in a room near the side road which was noisy, the next morning we asked to move and we were moved within the hour. Called housekeeping for robes, ice & glasses, no issues and every time they were quick. They have a pillow menu but we didn't need to use it. Breakfast is big and busy every morning. The break menu is rotated daily. Ate at the pool, nice steak sanga & satay skewers- not cheap though. After staying at many hotels in Bali over the years, the Padma is a great resort and location. I would compare it to resorts in Nusa Dua. Have had a pleasant stay.

This was our first trip to Bali and we researched many resorts before choosing Padma. We were glad we chose Padma as it was fantastic. We travelled with our 2 teenage daughters and stayed in a Laggon View Family room which was 2 interconnecting rooms. The rooms were great with big comfortable beds and fantastic showers and very very clean. The resort itself was amazing, the lagoon pool is beautiful and we spent many days around and in this. All the staff at the resort are very friendly and make you feel very at home. The area around Padma was also very good, a short walk to many good restaurants and some excellent shopping. Will definitely return to Padma Resort...

Can't get any better than this resort in Bali. It has 2 wonderful pools with pool bars and happy hour, buy one cocktail get one free, activities in the main pool each afternoon if you feel like moving from your sun lounge, beautifully manicured gardens. The breakfast changes each day with great variety, eggs are cooked any way you like, free wifi is a bonus, great kids club with a party every Saturday night. A short stroll for shopping, hair braiding, manicure , pedicure, massage and many great restaurants. The beach is cleaned each morning but still bits of rubbish floating around, the waves are great for the kids. The gym is well equipped and a great sunset bar

After many years of travelling to Bali we decided to stay at the Padma, we had a Garden club chalet and it was beautiful ground floor the bed was comfy as with choice of pillow menu we had our own garden area the only downside was the people above who let their kids run around like a heard of elephants at 630 am
The Spa treatments were bliss highly recommend the harmony package and facials I felt relaxed and enjoyed the pampering
We spent most time around the main pool as the lagoon pool is non smoking, the drinks were great with a large selection
The sunset bar was great especially when the breeze was blowing the entertainment was good
We ate at the italian and had the buffet heaps of choice and was well cooked really enjoyed the buffet
we ate at the cafe highly recommend squid and the steak
We had drinks included in our package in the garden club the service was great and plenty of variety you need to get there early as it gets full outside rather quick
All in all it was a great hotel the staff could not do enough for you and the grounds and all facilities were spotless, if you are looking for a relaxing getaway the Padma is perfect
Its close to Legian markets and if your looking for a great place to eat mozzarella down the road is cheap clean and value for money
We will return it was great

Room Tip: ground floor garden club own private garden or upstairs

I researched many resorts prior to settling on the Padma. We travelled with our three kids ranging from 3 to 9yrs old and had interconnecting Garden Club Chalet rooms. What a fantastic resort. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Legian is as Kuta was 10 years ago, fairly busy, good shopping, good local restaurants. The hustle and bustle of Legian is totally erased when inside the immaculate gardens of the The Padma. The restaurants offered good food and various themed nights, pools were pristine with really good service throughout the day of drinks and food. Garden Club benefits were great as kids could eat afternoon tea there everyday. Also good selection of cakes and great coffee. Rooms were clean and well decorated and very nice that only double storey in most of the resort. In the cheaper standard rooms they are about 4 storeys high. Staff were plentiful, happy and polite and superb with kids. We travelled in early Dec 2011 and it was very quiet so an added bonus. Plenty of sun lounges around pool and a nice mix of guests from all corners of the globe. Our children didn't use the Kids Club but we did have a look and it was very nicely presented. A really pleasant stay. Don't hesitate to book.
