This was our third stay at Legian Beach hotel in a Garden bungalow and did not disappoint. The location is excellent, right opposite the beach and in walking distance to Kuta & Seminyak. Absolutely loved it, great value for money and have always found the staff there friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Spend a little extra and go for one of the bungalows rather than a room in the hotel complex

We stayed in a Superior Family Room in April with our 2 teenage children. We found the staff very friendly and the facilities were great. Breakfasts (especially the Waffle Bar) were delicious. The place didn't seem overcrowded considering it was school holidays. Our room was very clean and the airconditioning was brilliant. Our room was near the road, but we didn't notice any noise coming from the traffic at all. My only disappointment was that we didnt have 2 bathrooms (with 4 people, you need it) and the rooms were much smaller than I thought, we also had to wait nearly 2 hours for our room to be ready. But having said that, I would come back again in a heartbeat and stay in a Garden or Pool Bungalow, the pools were great, location was fabulous and it was right across the road from the Money Changer!

Room Tip: Superior Family Room not as large as you would think. With 4 people maybe a Bungalow would be a bett...

We had the best customer service from the minute we booked. Emails were replied to promptly before we arrived, upgraded our room on arrival at no extra cost and nothing was to much trouble. our room was very spacious and clean. There are 2 large pools with kids pool area and spa. We traveled with our 10 month old and was great to be able to take him to the fish and squirrel feeding each day in amongst the beautiful gardens. Its a great location on the beach with many restaurants and shops just out side the hotel. Breakfast has a great selection with the pancake bar upstairs. We ate at all the restaurants during our stay at the hotel and all the food was excellent. We also done the cooking class and it was lots of fun as well as learning alot about indonesian style cooking. The day spa is nice but a bit expensive for what you got my massage wasn't great compared to others i've had in Bali there is a spa across the road (down the little ally) that is dirt cheap with great service.

We had high expectations for our stay at the Legian Beach Hotel and were disappointed to say the least. We found the majority of staff unhelpful, in attentive, rude and the customer service was very poor! We stayed in a twin Garden Bungalow and were disappointed with the overall quality of the room.

The air conditioner in our room was leaking for several days before of was seen too and had completely frozen up. It was constantly full of Mosquitos as the front door had a large gap they could get under and house keeping/maintenance would leave the door open when servicing the room. Our beds were not made up completely after our second night and basics such as tissues not re-stocked when they ran out. The exhaust fan in the bathroom dropped dirt and grime constantly. We had a loose light fitting that was hanging out over one of the beds. We required adapters for our stay and it took 3 requests to have one dropped off to our room. The Wifi was poor and was constantly dropping out.

We visited the day spa for a 3 hour treatment and during our massage there was sanding on the adjacent wall that was loud and distracting making the treatment not at all relaxing.

We were woken up at 8am by a staff member on our first day asking to check the mini bar use and found housekeeping were quite early in the morning to service the room. We paid 80% of one nights accommodation for a 6pm checkout and were locked out of our room at 2pm.

Due to the location of the hotel we found that it was expensive to get return taxis as it was on a one way street. It was easy to walk up and down the beach front and shopping is close by. Overall it was a disappointing stay and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely hotel chosen for its Bali feel as opposed to a modern one - which we really enjoyed. Great pool bar and other pool. Loved the fact that it was right on the beach. Included breakfasts were amazing. great location between seminyak and Kuta. Def happy to recommend

The hotel is situated dead smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Kuta-Legain-Seminyak-area. An anthill where cars and motorcycles reign supreme, and where there are shops everywhere you look... but walk through the gate of the Legian Beach Hotel, and silence descends on you. The hotel area is a very large tropical garden. In it are chalets, and of course the main building where the hotel rooms are located. Once you're in you don't hear the noise anymore; instead you hear birds, and in the distance the Indian Ocean's surf... It's a haven. A little bit of paradise. More so because the hotel staff will make you feel at home. There are smiles everywhere. The Balinese are the most pleasant people I've ever met! Here, no one will pass you by without making eye contact, and once that's been established whoever is in front of you will smile at you. Not a fake smile to please the customer, but a genuine smile. It warms your heart, believe me.
We had a catastrophic holiday as about everything that could go wrong did! Murphy's law ruled... The hotel staff were a great help. They offered every kind of assistance that we needed. Their interest in how we were doing was genuine. In short, they salvaged what there was left to salvage of an otherwise ruined vacation. Thanks guys!!!
So if you're planning your Bali holiday? Do yourself a favour; Stay at the Legian Beach Hotel.

Booked in for 11 nights and half way through, location great. Service is not up to bali standards. We booked this hotel for one reason only the swim up bar. Two years ago when we stayed here the pool bar was pumping but now is very dead, the main reason I can think of the music is shocking (unless you like three bee gees songs on repeat)

Tonight have been sitting in the lounge chairs n for two hours getting eaten by mozzies and going thirsty cannot get a drink, even when the boys picked up the menus from the lounge they didn't ask if we ended anything. One word legian beach hotel service and mozzie coils its simple.

The only redeeming feature f the hotel is the Japanese tepenyaki restaurant, the rest is 2-3 star hotel

Yes I will be back, but only if the price is right. This hotel is not worth a premium
