Legian Beach hotel has a great location. Close to both Seminyak and Kuta you can walk from the hotel to the big night clubs or dine on the beach. This area is quite busy with traffic, but relaxnig in the private pool of the pool villa we did not hear a sound. The big bed is comfortable, the bathroom a dream with a huge jacuzzi. Most of the time we spend outside, hanging around the private pool, laying on the sunbeds. The breakfast is amazing, variation every day. You can either sit close to the buffet or close to the beach. The staff makes you feel right at home. They always smile and try to make you enjoy your holiday as much as possible. Thank you for a great stay Legian Beach!

Room Tip: Choose a garden bungalow, beach bungalow or pool villa. The superior rooms and family rooms are good...

Stayed here with a mate in August 2012 for a few days in a twin superior. Has a pretty relaxing vibe about it. Staff helpful. Room is clean and well looked after. We had a really nice balcony that got good sun. Nice comfy cushion deck chairs. Bathroom was clean. The safe was kind of hard to work out though. We ate at the resort some nights, really good quality food and the breakfast is amazing. Awesome pools with swim up bar. Great food a short walk down the street to kuta. Few bars around. Legian is a great spot because your not quite in kuta but are close enough, and close to seminyak as well. The beach is pretty fun too and right across from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay around this area. Rooms have air con which is a must.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are pretty good quality. the ones higher up seemed to have the nicest balcony.

Gorgeous surroundings, friendly helpful staff, clean & tidy comfortable rooms/cabins, great buffet breakfast. For my 1st & only trip to Bali, i took a gamble on this Resort by booking online and i was not disappointed. Walking distance to all tourist areas in Kuta & of course it's right on the beach. Uncle Norms bar is a 3 minute walk up the busy street and this is a great friendly bar. Legion Beach Resort has a relaxing pool & spa area where i enjoyed my "best ever" hamburger poolside for lunch. :-)

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner one night, how disappointing!!!! The service was atrocious, the staff were very rude and some staff could not understand English. This hotel is on the beach and a beautiful setting but thats all it has going for it. The food was mediocre, supposed to be a 5 star restaurant, food was nicer in three stars. The prices are expensive for Bali and they added tax and a service charge onto the bill, where the service was terrible and I feel should have been optionable or non existent as it is in a third world country. Our order was taken wrong, then the waitress asked her boss to ask us what we ordered because she spoke little english. We waited 35 minutes for our drinks to arrive, nearly an hour for starter, the wrong order came and we asked for vinegar with chips and were given olive oil. There was a band playing who were ok but played right next to diners so you couldnt hear what the other person was saying, so much for a romantic meal. It was raining the night we were there and we were told by bar staff to wait in the lobby for our taxi, i asked for an umbrella and he pointed to it, he never said where the lobby was, we crossed from bar to lobby after eventually finding it then one of the security guards took the umbrella from us and we had to run out to the taxi in the rain, and i had just been to hairdressers that day. Bill came to $190AUD for two courses each and a few drinks. Altogether worst pace ive been to and ruined our last night in Bali, would definitely NOT recommend

My partner and I went on a couples trip to this resort with two other couples. We loved it!! We found the staff incredibly
lovely and kind and always worked very efficiently. Even when we were always sleeping in and running late to breakfast they would still make us fresh omletes. For what we payed we were expecting a budget resort but it was beautiful!! The food was great, massive buffet breakfast included with optional pancake and waffle house upstairs included...sooo yummy!! The pools were lovely and the food and drinks prices were reasonable. Its close to shopping,massage/pedicure places and not far from the night life. The beach in
Front of the resort was not the best..but the pools were great. I definitely recommend this resort.

I've stayed in many different hotels in bali and never experienced such rude staff and as unhelpful as the staff at Legian beach hotel. This hotel has the potential to be a fantastic hotel as location is great and the hotel grounds are very pretty but the terrible customer service ruined our holiday. Would never ever stay here again nor would I ever recommend to anybody else. Very disappointing.

We stayed there for a week with my parents and our two kids, 3 and 1. We really loved the whole set up, the gardens, the pools and having the beach at our door step. Staff was super friendly and great all around. The rooms look a little bit like they could use some renovation. Everything was clean and good quality, it just shows that humidity and time have done their job to make it look a bit old and worn.
There are two restaurants attached which is great if you just want to have a nearby dinner with the kids. Great location with sunset views and good food, although more expensive then "outside".

The breakfast restaurant wasn´t great, a bit noisy and busy. Although the food was fresh and of good quality, it is presented in a not very attractive way (or at least compared to others in that price range) My parents had been 4 years ago and apparently it was a lot better back then, more attention to detail and just overall better quality. If you go, the pancake bar upstairs on the 2nd floor is great, but easily to be overlooked.
