it was great staying at this hotel. really nice and unique design especially in room and lobby. very reasonable price and the most important is clean. the hotel is not that close to the beach but can easily walk or just get a taxi in front of hotel. definitely will stay here again.

Room Tip: choose a Junior suite if u prefer more larger room

This is one of the best value, intimate and lovely hotel in Legian. This hotel is rather new about 2 years old. Every single design detail of the hotel from the lobby, restaurant, passage until to the rooms reflected an intimate, relax and homely ambience.

We were getting a family room with balcony overlooking and access to the pool. We have daybeds at balcony too. Clean room with wifi, the staffs are friendly and the breakfast is great with local and western choice.

The only offset that I can think of is you may require about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main Legian Road.

Would stay here again. Awesome!!!

Room Tip: If travel with kids, get a room at level 1 which have direct access to the poolside, the kids will l...

Affordable and most importantly clean. You know how you can sometimes get skeptical staying at budget hotels? Well, don't be. Everything is clean from the bed sheets to the towels to the shower. It isn't smacked at the noisy Legian area. We walked easily around the area and even to Kuta Square.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Great buffet breakfasts, Indonesian and western, delicious.
Good spot in legian not far from the middle of the action. Excellent value. We were upgraded to a family room overlooking the pool so had a lot of space. Great king sized beds, comfortable pillows. Refrigerator included. The lobby is comfortable and spacious. Security at the enterence checking cars makes you feel good. All of the staff were very helpful.

Stayed here for a total of 5 nights in November 2013. Good value for money, the rooms were very clean and staff helpful. Also free internet and Apple Macs to use in hotel restaurant area. Pool is also quite big. Did not use the Spa facilities. Would stay here again 100%

We stayed at Bliss for 6 nights at the end of a 2 week stay in Bali. We chose a more expensive and plush hotel for a relaxing time. We didn't get our relaxing time.
Firstly though, the hotel is beautiful and the room was amazing. I wish I could have taken the bed home with me. The shower is awesome - great water pressure and well stocked with goodies. Air con works a dream.
Our problem was the noise. We booked a junior suite, and ours was above the reception area which meant our balcony overlooked Jl Sriwijaya and the neighbouring properties (no pool view). The room was not very well sound proofed and we had constant traffic noise. And for anyone who has been to Bali knows, the traffic noise can get crazy. This area of the hotel also shared a wall with the neighbouring properties which appeared to be houses and workshops. The workshop directly under our balcony started up work at around 6.30 - 7am every day and went all day. The constant hammering vibration and angle grinder noise was enough to make us bonkers. Also, with the hotel being mainly concrete the general noise from other hotel guests was really evident. The people who stayed in the room directly above us were related to elephants I think.
This noise problem is obviously not something that the hotel could have alleviated at any time. I guess it's just something you have to weigh up when you're booking the hotel. Because we had booked the hotel to specifically relax after a crazy 2 weeks it was an important aspect for us. If you're booking and not planning on spending much time in the room then it probably won't be an issue.
The breakfast buffet had a large selection of food but is obviously catered towards the Asian tourists who appeared to make up a bulk of the hotel guests. There isn't a lot on offer in terms of 'western' style food, but they do have a cook to order egg and pancake fryer.
The pool was great and we didn't at all find it to be cold in the afternoon when it was fully covered in shade - unless you consider 25 degrees as cold? Bizarre.
We didn't use the spa as the prices were a bit much. A 5 minute walk to Jl Legian and you can get the same services for a fraction of the price.
