A group of four of us ate at La Plage twice during our recent (May 2013) one-week stay in Bali. The food is lovely and tasty and about the best I ate during our admittedly short stay (we ate at Legian restaurants only). The combination spring rolls for entree were lovely and tasty with a not-too hot but spicy dipping sauce. Can't remember the name of my first dish which was chicken with 'calcium' vegetables (like spinach or bok-choy as it turns out) - it was delicious. Also eaten over the two visits were the Asian Chicken Curry, the Nasi Goreng and a fish dish (sorry - can't recall it's name). It was all really nice, fresh and tasty. We were shaking our heads wondering why on earth we were the only people in the restaurant each time - a couple of doors up "Uncle Norm's Bar" was full, loud and raucous. If you want that kind of thing then that's fine - if you want a fresh and tasty meal in interesting surroundings with lovely background music then try La Plage. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
