We had been to the other Mozzarella's in Legian and loved it but thought we had better try somewhere else... This seemed like a way of getting out of our guideline to not eat more than once in the same place. The menu was the same but the location was different so that was excellent.
And the location was lovely, with a seaside view. As with the sister restaurant, the food was great - thought we would try Indonesian to mix it up so I had Nasi Kampur (which was kind of a tasting plate with rice and included chicken sate, fried fish, chicken (and perhaps prawn?) stirfry, vegies and rice and sister had Nasi Goreng. Both delicious - a little spicy (we always say medium), the nasi goreng less - extra sambal was offered. Accompanied by delicious cocktails and finished with a Perfect creme brulee (in fact, possibly the Best Creme Brulee Ever).
We actually preferred the atmosphere and interior decoration of the other Mozarellas (much more funky). This one had very daggy music to our tastes (there seemed to be an awful lot of 80's and 90's power ballads) though some of the other patrons were clearly enjoying and singling along (!?). The staff here were also friendly and attentive.
I think this would be an especially lovely place to come and sit for pre-dinner cocktails with a beach view and I would gladly return.
