I was here last year with my family total 3 rooms, everything was prefect but this year i came back with group of friends total 3 rooms also. Checking in was late, waiting until 3.30pm only we managed to get our rooms. Rooms a bit run down compare last trip, and there is no kettle in the room to boil water means no tea coffee facilities, its trouble me because i need to make oat drink every morning. 2nd day morning at 8am, the renovation work started, we all woke up by the sound of drilling. Breakfast is good, only that egg section a bit slow and always long q. on the check out day, i was late for check out, at aroung 12.10 my room phone ring non stop, after i pick up, actually is computer generated of wake up call, and it ring every 5 minutes until i left the room and check out at 12.25pm, why the hotel don't want to just telling me i am late instead of put this wake up call every 5 minutes, i feel that this is not the way for a pro hotelier to act.
The hotel location, room, breakfast is ok, except the service. Finally i feel embarrassed to recommend this hotel to my friends, i won't go back to this hotel again next year. I hope they really improve their service because few new and nice hotels coming soon same street especially very big Mercure, and already opened The Akmani Legian Hotel is well recommended.

Room Tip: try no to get room on 3rd floor because 4th floor is for breakfast, moving anything like table and chairs may be waking u up in very early morning..

I had a fantastic stay at the 101 and I enjoyed every minute of it! The staff were genuine and great people, Tiwi and OiOi were excellent and made our stay much more comfortable! Loved it! Highly recommend the hotel to any tourist from any country! The location was unreal and literally have no complaints whatsoever. Will definitely be staying here next time! Much love from Australia

Room Tip: First floor easy access to lobby and entrance to hotel!

This is really a nice hotel very good location kuta.. But it's definitely more aimed for your 18 to 24 year olds Service is excellent rooms are nice and Clean.. Don't get me wrong this is not a five star hotel but for what you pay is not bad.. Don't think you'll be going to bed early on a Saturday or Friday night because the music will be pumping..

I am a student from Australia who just stayed in Bali for 12 nights.

Originally only 10 nights were booked at the 101 Legian, however, I loved it so much that I sacrificed one night of my accommodation else where just so I could come back!

PROS
- so close to everything kuta/legian related. a 15 min walk anywhere max or a $1-2 cab fair.
- staff are amazing!!!! you must attend at least one pool party, age is not an excuse, everyone is included and it could not be more fun!
-breakfast. the most amazing banquet with an even better view, nothing was missing!
-rooms were serviced daily and left immaculate, even clothes left laying around were tided!

CONS
- the ONLY negative I could say (apart from having to leave) was that some times the wireless would drop out and you would need to get a new password every three days

All I can say is THANK YOU 101 LEGIAN, you made my first trip to bali incredible and has made sure it definitely won't be my last!
