My two friends and I stayed at this hotel from 25-28 May 2012. It is located right in the shopping district of Legian Street lined with shops, restaurants and pubs. The rooms are quite spacious and bright with a very modern decor. Breakfast (Western and Indonesian) at the rooftop restaurant is a gem, with views of the sea and town. The staff are really helpful and always serving with a smile. Will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: If you want total silence (no noise from the road), request for rooms not facing the road.

Just booked in for one night,Before we left for the airport as were leaving at 12;30 AM. so did not actually sleep in the room. We booked in over the net, but when arrived were greeted very friendly, 2 hours earlier before check in time and they took us right to our room. My thoughts on this hotel were positive, i think for a younger age group. Very lovely bright and fresh, small clean rooms, bathroom very small but still ok for the price,i did look at one of the family rooms and think if you were going just the two of you ( or an extra Child ) it would be good to get the family room as more space and a bigger bathroom. Had dinner at the restaurant i quite liked it, had a band playing and food was good. Not sure what time the band finished playing Hopefully not too late as you would be able to hear them in your room. Pool looked beautiful roof top location. Location of the hotel great just walk down to Matahari Square and shops all the way to browse in. The only real negative i could find as when you first go into your room, there is a refrigeration smell from the air conditioner, once you are in there a few mins you get use to it . Yes i think its a nice budget hotel. Would like to stay and see what its like over a few days.

This is my second stay here, my first in March 2012 was better. The second stay i was on the ground floor. Much darker and noisey! Could here people in next room, loud door in hall closing all the time, hear people in the hall talking and walkingt. The water from shower had a smell? I had a web discount price this trip and i think it was still overpriced. For only really using the room to sleep, i got my use out of it, it was always clean and staff were friendly. Would stay here again but has to be the right price. You can get great villas around the area with 2x the space for 1/2 the price. But paid for location to walk Legian.

Room Tip: The 2nd floor was better than ground floor but roof top bar gets loud some nights after all day out...

What the heck....our day usually start with breakfast in rooftop area and after that we went out and came back at night and sleep. Excellent location, good prize, small-clean room with noise from everywhere. but once again what the heck....this is Kuta !!! you don't need to stay all day long inside the hotel and swim at hotel swimingpool...the ocean is 10 minutes walk away from you.

I paid infront when I booked via asiarooms and the hotel still asked me 50 bucks for deposit !!! eventhough they will return it back 3 days after check out (I paid the deposit with credit card)....weird and funny....

Great location...however...

We booked two twin rooms (ended up in the dungeon-like region "ground floor"). While the rooms were clean...they were dark, smelled damp, and the water coming out of the taps in the bathroom smelled of sewerage which caused the entire room to stink after having a shower (we stayed in a different hotel later in our trip in Kuta and the water did not smell this bad!). The bathrooms offer no privacy. One of our rooms had blinds in the bathroom, but you could still see through them...and the second room had no blinds at all and you were fully exposed through a large pane of glass while sitting on the toilet or having a shower. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper - the corridors echo and you can hear every conversation and doors banging closed throughout the night.

There are always plenty of staff around ... but don't be fooled by this. You will be offered cocktail and food menus promptly at the rooftop bar...but this is where it ends. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes for your drink to arrive at your table...and up to an hour, if not more, for a meal. If you are expecting staff to re-visit your table while you are there to see if everything is ok or if you would like another drink...forget it. If you want any attention from staff, just get everyone on your table to stand up and head for the door - they will quickly run to you and make sure you pay your bill.

The pool was still not up and running during our stay. We were hence offered free lunch each day instead...which meant you had to go and collect vouchers from the main desk and then make your way up to the rooftop bar. This was no big deal, however this just seemed to cause even more confusion amongst the staff...and upon checking out... were issued with a whopping bill that included for our "free lunches".

Leave plenty of time to check out...it will take at least 10-15 minutes for someone at the desk to notice that you're standing there waiting...a further 10 minutes and 2-3 staff members to figure out how to check you out of their system. Then you can probably expect to stand there arguing with staff for 15-20 minutes about your bill and the added $300 worth of food to your bill throughout your stay that was supposed to be free.

If you want a stress and frustration free stay in Bali...this hotel is NOT for you.
If you want a cheap place in a good location to dump your bags and party the night away...then you will have no problems at all!
