I am surprised at the amount of people who claim food poisoning minutes after a meal. It just doesn't work that way!! the previous comment and even a few people who ate here when we did, claim to be sick immediately.. it begs the question, what did you eat 3-4 hours earlier? salads, ice, and vegies should be avoided in bali, and if you eat these its at your own risk..
We ate here numerous times during our stay next door, and not only was the food fine, well cooked and well presented, the ice, fruit drinks and salads were safe to eat.
Not once were we sick and we ate a different meal every night, from chicken to pork chops.
The staff are very friendly and despite the odd complaint (from an aussie that wants 5 star quality from a basic bali cafe/restaurant), they are willing to show you a fun perspective of the locals and happy to accommodate.
Take my advice, after numerous trips to bali i have not been sick once... all because i was careful about what i ate. Here, you don't have to.
