We booked at Ramada Camakila as we found a nice spa package - 3 nights including some spa treatments etc.

The resort itself is very lovely, beautiful pool running through the centre of the hotel. 2 restaurants overlooking the pool, plenty of sunbeds etc.

The room itself could definately do with an upgrade - starting with a good lick of paint and new doors. They call all the rooms deluxe but I dont think there is anything really deluxe about it., and i think there are probably much nicer rooms in other local hotels for a similar price so if a nice room is all you care about - I would probably suggest you to stay elsewhere.

Apart from the room the hotel has lovely staff who are eager to please, beautiful pool, day spa is very nice (recommend massages and scrub), breakfast provided is nice (incl eggs cooked as you please), No swim up but multitudes of staff around to fulfill your every whim poolside be it a bintang, cocktail or a snack.

The hotel is pretty well located to the main strip of Kuta, and also backs on to the beach.

Would I stay again? would probably looks elsewhere first...

We have just returned from 7 nights at the Ramada Camakila. Staff are very friendly and helpful but the rooms were in a poor condition. Walls dirty and in need of painting, Bathroom in desperate need of update, towels supplied for showers are disgusting and are actually a dirty colour they are that bad.Water for shower was warm at the best and the smell of the water is horrible and you have to let the shower run for 5 minutes first to remove smell. A very bad smell (Sewerage) is around the grounds everywhere from the grey water unit next door and in sight is the wastage from the toilets etc. next door. I would not reccommend this place to anybody

We stayed at Ramada Camakila for a week the rooms were not to 4 star standard towels were grey and shabby i wouldnt give them to my dog.Not worth the money stay somewher else.Beaches were black very dissapionted would not go back. However the staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful the hotel standards are not there fault its the people running the hotel need to read this.Dont bring duty free back through customs at bali airport they take it of you for them selves even virgin blue air hostesses have complained many time the airport know it goes on becareful.

Our family has just returned from a 10 night stay at the Ramada Camakila, first impressions were just as we had pictured, modern and clean. Our check in was easy and faultless and not a hassle we were in our rooms before we knew it.
Our first good tour of the Motel revealed all it had to offer, a great smaller pool over looking the sea side, a great Spa facility and small gym if you are so inclined and a much bigger main pool, everything was very clean and tidy.
Our breakfasts were supplied as part of our package and was very enjoyable with some changes of choice each day in what was on offer.
But for us the jewel of our stay at the Ramada was by far its staff, we could not have asked for friendlier more helpful service, nothing was to much trouble for them, yes I know its there job but they managed to make it so much more personal they we have ever experienced before, always greeted by our name and nothing was to much trouble, even my daughters picky eating habits like Steak plain no sauces and just mush potato I think they called it a Miss Tori Special by the time we left and her hot chocolate Drinks at 2am.
So if you are a family looking for a place to stay were you have fun friendly staff looking after you and a great motel in a great location give this one a go I am sure you wont be sorry.

FIrst-time mid-budget traveller to Bali and travelling with not-so adventurous parents, I wasn't sure what to go for. This hotel is awesome for the following reasons: Beautiful and not-too-big resort, very friendly staff and good service, awesome local and "international" food at two different restaurants, it's on the beach and also has two nice pools (not lap pools), it's quiet and clean, each room has balcony where you can sip a quiet beer at night and look at the stars.

It's not a party place, and if you're here for a more cultural experience, I am sure there are better places/locations. If you want calm and quiet surroundings, great service and convenience, and to relax and look at the waves while reading a book, having a drink and eating your dinner, this is great. Didn't try out the spa. There are also surfing classes etc on the beach. LARGE rooms.

The only thing that we enjoyed about our stay at this hotel was the friendly staff. Breakfast was average but could not eat in comfort as the restaurant was open air. The air con was not cool enough, even on the lowest temperature. The rooms looked bare, could improve the decor. Another good thing is location, beachfront. I would consider staying here again if it was reclassified to 3 star - cheaper rates.

Ramada camakila is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of legian between seminyak and Kuta. We have stayed at the hotel last year for 1 month and this year for another month.
Perfect service, very personnalized, great location, beach front, rooms are spacious and very clean, very comfortable beds, turn down service every day, 24 hours room service, great food, nice swimming pools, nice spa and a very very special attention from a young and professional staff.
