We stayed here for 4 nights and this place is really great. The staff are incredibly friendly, they always stop to talk and the guys that stand at the front entrance are so helpful with directions and taxis. The rooms are fairly large, with nice balconies. 2 pools, one more family-ish and one mire adults which overlooks the ocean.
The breakfast buffet is pretty good, they do pancakes but you have to ask for them (totally worth it).
They have all types of entertainment through out the week so you can enjoy a nice evening right at the hotel.

The rooms were spacious, clean and good value. The staff were friendly and always had a smile. We stayed for 8 nights and wished it was longer. Bar staff made us cocktails which we asked that were not on the menu. Thank you to all your staff as we had a ball. We will stay there again

Lucky enough to have a ground floor room. l was 3 metres from pool.Loved it. the wife says the downside of location was music at 6.30am from restaurant/breakfast area next to pool & there were some late swimmers 11.00 pm which is not supposed to be allowed.l guess you could be moved to other end away from pool but think maybe just turn music down. Room was cleaned very well.i didn't give 5 stars as felt tables could have been cleaned better at breakfast.Lots of eateries out along the beach and front entrance. definately loved salad roll at Tommys & iced coffee.left out the front door ,next right about 300 metres down on left side. very small shop but great.
All in all l had a very enjoyable stay at Ramada.

What a wonderful hotel I didn't want to leave, the rooms are big and very clean, the gardens are beautiful and well maintained, the pool is 1.45mts deep the whole way around and the water can be warm in the afternoon, there can be a few pool hogs but if you ask the pool person he will remove the towels off the sun lounges that haven't been used for a while. The breakfast was plentiful and lots of choices, the staff are very happy and very helpful. They are currently putting a elevator in which looked like it would be completed very soon.

Like so many other reviews I read, when we tried to check in we where asked to take a seat because the manager wanted to see us. He came over and made up this story and made out like it was a thing that never happens. They tried to send us to Ramada Bintang. We were at this hotel because we had friends staying there and didn't want to be moved. It took about 1 hour of our day and it was only got sorted when i said when we returned home I would write a review about it, then out of nowhere a room was available. So because of this experience I wouldn't go back there and wouldn't recommend it.

Dear Sir, Madam

Greetings from Ramada Resort Camakila on Sunny Legian Beach in Bali!

Thank you for sending us your feedback re your recent stay to TripAdvisor, your comment is duly noted. It must have been disappointing for you to have experienced this situation during your stay here in Bali. We do regret that our hotel was having a technical system failure which caused the overbooking situation upon your arrival.
It was a challenge that we needed to overcome as a form of our commitment to our guests. Therefore, we were attempting to allocate them properly by proposing an upgrade to a five star hotel, Ramada Bintang Bali and also compensated them with complimentary dinner and covered their airport transfers. It is not an easy task for us to choose amongst these difficulties. Regretfully, you are in one of the guests whom we planned to allocate without knowing that you were here to join with your friends at our hotel. When you told us about this, we struggled to prioritize you and we did this with consideration to give your anticipated holiday with your friends.
We appreciate you taking the time to write and give us the opportunity to explain our position. Our management will assure a high attention on this situation for the future and be more sensitive on every guest’s need. We surely hope that this matter would not keep you from enjoying beautiful Legian in Bali.

Should you wish to contact me personally please send your email to gm@ramadaresortcamakila.com
Yours

I recentley stayed at this resort with my partner and we were lucky enough to get a ground floor deluxe room. All rooms have a balcony and becuase ours was on the ground floor, we could walk straight across the path and into the pool however, it was quiet noisy in the morning being across from the restaurant.
The pool down by the beach is lovely however quite small and people like to claim the sunbeds early in the morning and go and pack their suitcase or get a foot massage etc. The hotel should maybe make a time limit on each sun bed so others dont miss out. The pool near the lobby/restaurant has sun over it all day (I read some comments about this no sun over the pool, this is not the case).
If you go to breakfast too late it can be hard to get a table but you dont have to wait very long and the lovely staff find you a spot. The staff were all very friendly and offered great service at all times! I would definatley reccommend this for the location, comfort (big rooms), good service...

We read mixed reviews on Trip Adviser before our holiday, but pleased to say all is well at the Ramada. Our room was great, air-con worked well, and the staff were delightful and always happy to help. From the moment we found our driver at the airport (after being harrassed by porters) and stepped into the air-conditioned luxury van complete with refreshing facecloth and cold water, the Ramada looked after us well. As we arrived at reception we were given a refreshing welcome drink and vouchers for a free 10 minute foot massage for each of us. The tip about taking hangers was useful, only 4 in our room and 3 of them taken by bathrobes. Internet downstairs in lobby was cheap, and the Bintang supermarket was only a short taxi ride. The extra bed in our room for our son was very hard but when we asked for it to be changed they did this the same day. Breakfast was great, the pancakes with strawberry or banana (or both) are delicious, as is the freshly cooked omelette, and plenty of other food selections plus great coffee. The pools are both nice, with the two levels of dining at Azaa restaurant next to the main pool and the Tao Beach House restaurant / rooftop bar looking out over the smaller pool to the beach and ocean. Plenty of sun loungers and towels are supplied at the pool. Tao Beach House has a lovely view and cocktail happy hour (at both restaurants) from 6 - 9pm. The hotel is well located with the main street entrance near shops and places to eat (don't go to 3 Brothers around the corner - service is abismal) and the back goes directly onto the beach. We walked from Kuta a couple of times, it takes about 30 - 35 mins.
