“Great Stay...thank you !!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

I stayed on my own at the Ramada for a week, I found it to be very comfortable indeed, centrally located, staff very friendly, the manager Greg going out of his way to please and be helpful and I was impressed as he was always wandering around checking things were running smoothly. The breakfasts are great, the pools are nice, its right beside the beach and close to everything you might need, the room staff were fantastic and I really loved the animal towel creations left on the bed, my favourite was the elephant and monkey thank you Arta they got Facebooked.
Thanks Ramada for a wonderful stay looking forward to getting back in August :-)

My partner and I stayed at the ramada for three nights in Febuary. On the 1st night we got moved to the pullman as they had double booked the resort. The staff were very apologetic and gave us a free meal and massage which was lovely. Best massage in Bali at the ramada spa. Also the restaurant was 5 star. The breakfast was pretty average at the hotel, could definatly be improved on. The room was a decent size and the bed was nice a comfy, however the bathroom was a bit of a let down, shower over bath and not much ventilation. All and all the hotel is great if you want to be close to the action

My husband and I were married at the Ramada in April 2012 and spent 3 wonderful weeks there. The resort is very clean and close to all shopping, beaches and restaurants around Legian. The staff were absolutely wonderful and nothing was ever too much for them. Our 35 guests also stayed at this resort and had no problems. The pools, spa and restaurants are all great, and breakfast was amazing! Can't wait to celebrate our anniversary back at the Ramada in 2 weeks.

The best part about staying at the Ramada Camakila was the beautiful infinity pool that faced onto the beach, although the surrounds could do with an anti-rust clean up on some of the tired flower containers. Surrounds could do with an expert modern landscape. Room was comfortable but the bed linen had a damp odour that was quite off putting. Housekeeping service leaves a lot to be desired, very slow and they need sharpen up their cleaning skills indeed! We only had breakfast at the hotel which was stock standard, coffee not that nice. Perfect hotel for families wishing to meet other holidayers and good value for those watching their money. Close walking distance to lots of shops, markets, massages and cafes and not far to taxi to Seminyak

Dear HappyAussies72,

Please allow me to start by thanking you for your great comments about our TAO Beach House restaurant and location.

Although I am disappointed that our housekeeping department was not able to really show their hospitality and experience, I truly appreciate you sharing these constructive comments. It gives us an opportunity to improve, and we definitely will, both with our housekeeping and landscaping!

I do hope that we have a chance to show you what we can really do in the future.

Sincerely,

Greg Harrison

We stayed at Ramada for a week over Christmas, the company was parents and grown up kids. The rooms are ok, nothing spectacular but they were clean and spacious enough. We had two double rooms, one with an extra bed. Overall the service was fantastically good all the way from the driver that picked us up, at the reception, restaurant and bars to the MD. very accommodating to needs and demands. The resort has two swimming pools, one centrally placed inside the hotel area with access to the restaurant. One close to the beach overlooking the sea, fantastic sunsets, with access to a small bar and restaurant, our favorite place over the week. We also used the massage and wellness center which hold a very good quality, both on the massage but also from cleanness and interior perspective. The beach was only 10m away from the hotel, even though the sea was a bit further. The beach is big but not very clean and with good waves for surfers, a bit less attractive if you only went down for a swim. The surroundings had plenty of restaurants with both local and western food. Overall we all had a great stay and can definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We had rooms located on ground floor with our own patio and 5 meters to the pool and breakfast area...

Recently spend a week in this hotel and I was pleased with the location. Lot of nice restaurant and bars on walking distance, also the main street is very close. The TAO pool house has a great view and is a nice place to spend a day at the pool.

The rooms needs a refurbishment and housekeeping should spend some more attention to details when cleaning. However main problem is mosquitos. Hotel is doing a lot to fight them, but still lots of them in your room.

As everywhere in Bali staff is very nice and always willing to help.

As we visited the hotel on reward points cannot really judge the value for money.

We booked thru Wotif secret deal for 3 nights $98 per night including breakfast. Allocated ground floor room, with great access to pool area, very very happy with allocation. Breakfast was great, service in restaurant fantastic and room service quick and very tasty with alot of choice although slightly more expensive than others we have recently stayed. Room very spacious with fantastic air conditioner, lovely infinity pool and bar out the back overlooking the beach. 10 minute walk to Jalan melasti, plenty of food options outside of resort and close to mini mart/circle k. Location a little out of the way if seeing the nightlife in kuta, although only a dollar or two in a taxi. satellite channels slightly more limited than other resorts recently stayed at. This would be a great couples and family resort and would recommend this resort to others. Free wifi is a bonus.

Room Tip: Poolside rooms on ground floor are great
