Description: Pearl is a tropical sanctuary infused with French flair and the ubiquitous Balinese charm, offering chic indoor dining and breezy garden terrace seating beneath the starry skies. The 60-seat restaurant serves up refined French classics elevated with Chef Jeremy’s creative touches. Jeremy finished his chef's apprenticeship in the Michelin one-star La Petite France in Maussan, under master chef Thierry Maffre-Boge, flew to Bali and directed the creation of his dream restaurant at the Bali Pearl in 2009. He perfectly blends French traditional concepts of cooking and presentation with tropical produce and sensibilities. Welcome!

The place was boutique and great where we spent our dinner here. We ordered duck and some French drinks and both were excellent taste. Staffs and manager tried to make us happy in all ways. We might be back

“Excellent food, service and ambiance”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

We were fortunate enough to dine at Pearl last night after it being recommended to us and it met our expectations entirely. Unfortunately it had been raining so we did not get to dine in the garden, but the open outdoor area we were shown to was beautiful too, The food was first rate, we shared a tasting plate for entree, which was yummy, but I had had my eye on the scallops wrapped in parma ham, then swayed off it, so we will be heading back to Pearl next week so I can order it then. I ordered the Duck Breast for my main course, it was cooked to perfection and went beautifully with the baked vegetables and balsamic sauce, very more-ish. We were very pleased to see very reasonably priced wines available on the wine list, seems to be a rare thing in Bali, the Merlot Shiraz blend we choose was very enjoyable. Must say we were very impressed with the service, the wait staff were very attentive whilst not being to smothering, all in all a great night, beautiful food and wine, finished off with the best coffee I have had in Bali, can't wait to go back next week. Should also mention very well priced food, excellent value for money.

This restaurant is quite unassuming from the outside, but don't let that deter you. The food is out of this world! The presentation is top class and the tastes are sensational. The staff are welcoming and professional. The menu is balanced and inviting. We met with the chef, who kindly gave us a tour of his new wine room. Best booking for dinner and sit outside (weather permitting). Enjoy.

“Superbe Food”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

From the moment we walked through the doorway, everything was special.... the fairy lights throughout the garden, giving it a magical air. The waiters who catered to our every need and lastly, the food! Truly magnifique. I have dined in Paris many times and this food lived up to 5* dining in Paris.... Jeremy the french chef greeted us with explanations of the menu. As there were 7 of us, we all ordered something different.... We couldn't fault anything. I would highly recommend the Tasting Plate, as that let's you have a taste of everything. The salmon dish was the best I have ever tasted... but I have to say the Lobster Ravioli was truly sensational... We were all raving about our dishes! Jeremy offered to make a pasta for our fussy 4 year little girl....and made a Pasta in Chicken Liver and Truffle Oil....to which after every mouthful she went 'yum' and ate again! The only negative was that we went on our last night in Bali.....and if I had gone on the 1st night.....I would have gone again..... Next time! Hats off to you Jeremy!
