Description: Pearl is a tropical sanctuary infused with French flair and the ubiquitous Balinese charm, offering chic indoor dining and breezy garden terrace seating beneath the starry skies. The 60-seat restaurant serves up refined French classics elevated with Chef Jeremy’s creative touches. Jeremy finished his chef's apprenticeship in the Michelin one-star La Petite France in Maussan, under master chef Thierry Maffre-Boge, flew to Bali and directed the creation of his dream restaurant at the Bali Pearl in 2009. He perfectly blends French traditional concepts of cooking and presentation with tropical produce and sensibilities. Welcome!

After having a great meal here Christmas day evening, we couldn't wait to give it another try.

Started with the foie gras terrine, which when arrived was still a bit cold. But after giving it a few minutes to warm up, the texture and taste was exactly how it should be - divine!

My wife so enjoyed the salmon confit she had that again. After chatting with the head chef, I chose the lamb shank this time. It is beautifully presented (off the bone) and the taste was superb, helped not least by the fantastically rich sauce. Very nice indeed.

Last time we had the "taste sampler" dessert, this time we decided to share the triple brule. We really liked this, felt is was a better choice than the sampler. Full marks.

The house red is reasonable and very drinkable.

Once again, this restaurant gets full marks and remains my #1 recommendation for Bali. If you check how many restaurants I have reviewed in Bali (never mind the ones I haven't bothered reviewing) then you will understand that this is a well-informed decision....

What a wonderful restaurant. We have spent the past two weeks eating at every known restaurant and last night visited Pearl and it was truly a joy. The food was outstanding, 5+ star, our chef Jeremy, gracious and staff superb. There is no better in Bali.

From the moment we walked into Pearl we were treated to a special experience. Hidden away down a land behind high gates was a garden lit with fairy lights through the trees. Our table held a large leaf with out name written in silver across it. The service was exceptional, never invasive but always just a nod away if we needed anything.
The chef visited our table twice throughout the meal to ask for any questions we might have and explain his menu in detail...a much appreciated touch.
We had high expectations of this restaurant and were not disappointed. The tasting platter of entrees was fantastic and a great way to begin the meal, especially when all the things look good and you cant decide, my favourite was the lobster bisque - the chef said it takes him 8 hours to prepare and it was well worth the trouble as the result is one of the best soups ever -the flavour was outstanding.
Of course the dessert tasting platter was also a must try - and as every single dish was a perfect 10 it is hard to say which was best but if I had to then it was probably the Brulee (the chef is French after all and a true master of desserts)
Its his families business and you feel the pride he has in his food reflected. We had a terrific evening and would definitely return

Six of us had dinner here based on recommendations from Tripadvisor and from friends.

What a delight, tucked away off one of the busy streets in Legian. A quiet retreat for a wonderful evening beneath the shadowy trees lit by fairy lights.

We have all travelled extensively, and eaten in many fine restaurants around the world. The feeling was unanimous that this dinner was up there with the best.

Everyone was impressed with the whole experience - the cuisine, the garden setting, the service, the value for money. The opportunity to chat with the chef as we made our selections was an added bonus.

Between us we had a range of entrees, mains and desserts - fish, seafood, meat, including tasting platters.

If you want to experience fine dining in a lovely setting, make sure you book for dinner at this impressive establishment.
