Description: Pearl is a tropical sanctuary infused with French flair and the ubiquitous Balinese charm, offering chic indoor dining and breezy garden terrace seating beneath the starry skies. The 60-seat restaurant serves up refined French classics elevated with Chef Jeremy’s creative touches. Jeremy finished his chef's apprenticeship in the Michelin one-star La Petite France in Maussan, under master chef Thierry Maffre-Boge, flew to Bali and directed the creation of his dream restaurant at the Bali Pearl in 2009. He perfectly blends French traditional concepts of cooking and presentation with tropical produce and sensibilities. Welcome!

Pearl French Restaurant is a MUST. The menu is great, especially their dessert tasting plate. Oh yes, the chef (Jeremy) is rather beaut too........ Great service, lovely setting and really good food - what more could you ask for. We missed out this year as our visit coincided with the time when the restaurant was closed.

“Very good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

We came here by following the Tripadvisor's comments. And didn't regret at all! Normally we try to eat less in the evening but here was really difficult to resist.. In the end both of us had the starter - the main plate- and dessert! All was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended for people who appreciate good and delicious cuisine! Service is very professional and owners didn't hesitate speak with clients and helped to make the choise!

“Stunning!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

This is a beautiful little restaurant with fantastic ambience. Beautiful garden setting if seated outdoors & gorgeous fancy setting if sitting indoors. The service Is amazing, the food is even better! Pricey for Bali but its 5 star dining & worth every cent. More of a special occasion restaurant then an every night restaurant. The chef is French & often comes and talks to you checking your food was ok. The tasting plate made of creme brûlée, choc mousse, panna cotta & choc fondant cake is an absolute must!

This restaurant is actually on the border of Legian & Seminyak on Jalan Double Six and not in Kuta. There is another review listing on it with many more reviews under pearl Seminyak.

“Fun and creative cooking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

Went there last night after reading the raving reviews here.
Love to try restaurants with young and aspiring head chefs!
The chef was very friendly and explained the menu so we could make a suitable choice, recommending certain dishes in particular.
The 2 of us ordered the tasting starter and foie gras terrine to share.
Lobster bisque, ravioli with eggplant caviar and goats cheese, tuna tartare.
All very good, our favorite was the very rich lobster bisque.
For mains we had barramundi and the chefs version of a boeuf Bourguignon, the fish perfectly cooked and still juicy. The boeuf perfectly tender. Well done!
Even found a bottle of Guigal Gigondas 05 on the wine list, perfectly mature and balanced bottle of northern Rhone reasonably priced for the area.
Finished off with an espresso and cognac just for me...
The total cost including 4 bottles of water was about $210 US.
So it doesn't come cheap, but it was well worth it.
Please note that the wine bottle was half the bill...
