“Awful, Expensive & AVOID”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

I don't usually speak ill of restaurants until they really don't produce at least one good dish that is edible, sorry i lied the cocktail was AMAZING but that was done by the cocktail waitress and not the chef's.
We ordered the calamari, prawn tempura and the prawn dumplings for entree.
Verdict- Calamari was cut into squares and battered in a thick and hard batter as was the prawn tempura. The prawns were soggy inside and the batter tasted strange we couldn't put a name to the taste of it.
For 5 Tiger prawns was $35.00 and we ordered the Seafood basket with that for $25.00. The Lobster was average, the prawns were too big, chewy and with no real anything too it. The garlic sauce also tasted like the batter and would have been likened to seafood that you get from a corner store down the coast not a $95.00 Aus Dollar meal.
Avoid if you can!!!

“If you Like Fresh Seafood,This is the One for you”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

I have been to Goshas quite a few times and I have never been disappointed. We recently celebrated my nephews birthday there and they hung decorations, made a cake and gave us traditional party hats. The service was great with the waitress being ever attentive and making jokes with us.They also allowed the kids to have their soft drinks served in the huge coconuts usually saved for the cocktails.I always have the same dishes with the breaded prawns and the crumbed calamari entrees.Huge and always have a hard time finishing them. You can taste that the food is fresh and well cooked. You can also buy frogs legs which our kids love.Thankyou so much for makingthe birthday party a great success.Everyone had a ball and enjoyed their meals

“friendly, tasty food, recommend the grill selection”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

We love going to Gosha for evening meals.. conveniently located in JL Melasti,it becomes busy at dinner and is a bit quieter in the daytime around lunch where it appears less staff are employed to serve customers and focus on food prep. The decor inside is classic bamboo thatching and is pleasant. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The BBQ grill at the front entices passerby's with its smoky aroma and assortment of seafood- fish, crab,prawns.. Our kids also love the chicken satays. Our family enjoy the grilled garlic snapper and I believe this is as good as Jimbaran but less $$$. A great group/family option.

“Liked the chicken”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

We went to this restaurant twice whilst we were on holiday recently in Bali. The first time the service was miserable and quite unfriendly. Staff stood around in a demoralised and lacklustre way not really paying any attention to the customers. The second time we went there was a manager of sorts who was working and the staff were a lot perkier.
The food was good / average. The best thing that we had was the grilled chicken - it had a really nice flavour and was quite good value for money and it was the reason we went back. We ordered a couple of fried dishes and they were quite greasy and tasteless, a grilled fish dish we had was overcooked and the banana prawns whilst spectacular did come at a spectacular price ....
On our second visit we had one of the coconut cocktails. For all those who fear the cocktail recycling scam I can assure you that at least one coconut will not be recycled ... It was in pieces and the decorations shredded by a 3 and 7 year old by the time we left. Apologies to other patrons on the night.
