We visited Bali Beach Shack immediately after checking into our hotel. It's smack in the middle of Jalan Sahadewa and can be seen from afar with its giant signboard. As it was lunchtime, the place was empty. That didn't deter us from entering. The staff were nice - giving us cold towels to cool off once we sat down. Apart from that, we can't say there's anything much to shout about.
Ambience - Dead in the afternoon as we were the only customers. No idea about the night though I'm guessing it's probably wilder, with its drag shows going on.
Food - We tried the beer-battered fish n chips and chicken in a basket. They were passable but given good reviews of this place, we were expecting something much better.
Service - Friendly folks who let us know what was happening at night and giving service with a smile.
Value - After knowing the rest of the area, food wasn't exactly the best. Bintangs were the highest price in the 4 places in Legian we tried. The service makes up for it a bit.
