“Very good local dishes.”
Reviewed May 31, 2014

Fresh, tasty Indonesian dishes. Highly recommend this warung for food and service. Can get busy because of it's good reputation. But tables turn over quickly.

“Always an incredibly delicious meal”
Reviewed May 23, 2014

I ate a few meals here, as I always do, and was not disappointed. The nasi campur would be among the best I've had anywhere and it's always the first meal I have here. I have to admit though, it's so filling that I've never managed to finish it yet. The nasi goreng and mie goreng are also brilliant.

I met some first time Bali visitors at the hotel I was staying at and they were keen to try some authentic Indonesian food, so I took them here. They were in love and wanted it as their last meal before returning home - that's always a glowing recommendation!

As others have said, it looks nothing special from the street, but venture in and you won't be disappointed. Cheap meals and drinks and packed with flavour.

“Great Value, Great Food, Cold Beer!!”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

Found this little gem thanks to TA contributors so thank you. Walked there from our hotel about 10 minutes, a pleasant walk as always around the streets of Legian.
My wife and i and four kids aged between 10 and 17 were a little nervous at first eating at a Warung but when the food came out it was faultless. The flavours were fantastic and the prices unbelievable. We had the Nasi Goreng and Nasi Kampur. Mains are no more than 20.000 RP (Yes $2), soft drink cans 10.000 RP and Bintang 25 RP for reg or 35 RP for large. The meals are generous and the warung is clean and very well presented. Total bill for the six of us was 280.000 (or $28 AUD) which included 2 drinks each. Cant go wrong.

“Something you would not expect”
Reviewed April 28, 2014

Looking from the street it seems a sort of garage, for sure not a restaurant or a place in which you can have a lunch.
Once inside you discover that tables and furniture are surprisingly clean, the waiter is friendly and welcoming, the smell of food is great.
In this small restaurant we had the best Nasi Goreng ever (and we live in south-east Asia) for a ridiculous price.
Two main courses, a small beer and a large beer for less than 5 euros...
Dont' be tricked by the appearance, if you are in the nearby just go and try!
