After a long day it was great to enjoy a tasty and filling meal without the price tag. Basic table and chairs, we arrived at 7:30pm and they had already ran out of a few dishes. We settled for the Kare Ayam (Curry Chicken), a chicken leg served in curry juice with rice for 20000rp..delishh... a can of coke was only 9000rp...Exchange rate was 11500 USD, AUD was 10700 and Euro ws 15500...

We ate here 12 months ago & again this year for dinner & lunch. The food is basic but tasty & cheap. If you are happy with a filling, basic meal then this is a good choice. All basic Indo meals with limited choice but well done. The Nasi Campur had some tasty choices, the chicken curry is also a good choice, the Nasi Goreng & Mie Goreng are basic but filling. Nothing flash but good value for a budget meal.

This place looks like the carport next door with chairs and tables, but is one of the hardest places to get into in Legian. We try to go out of meal times to avoid disappointment. How can they stay in business at those prices. While the price for a meal has just gone up, it is still only $2 for a big meal. We had lunch and dinner there most days. 2x main meals, 1x small Bintang & 1x lemon Juice all for under $7 lmao, you can't get a burger at the golden arches for that.
It isn't for everyone, they only have Indonesian food at great prices. Don't forget to leave a tip cause it is worth 3 times what you pay. They even do takeaway.

May not look like much from the outside, but eating here means you have money to spend elsewhere! Try the Nasi Campur and a bottle of Bentang, you won't be disappointed.
