We were there from 24 June to 4 July 2014. We were the only ones staying there for nearly 2 weeks, so spoilt rotten by the staff. The Villa was amazing - huge, clean, luxurious. The staff were wonderful. We loved loved the pool and spent most of our time there. Breakfast was delicious. Two of the staff members arrived at our villa half an hour before we wanted to eat, cooked our meal and cleaned up. Then they came back after breakfast - while we were in the pool - and cleaned up again. Then they cleaned the rooms. So everything was very clean. Then they would be back in the evening to turn down our beds, which my husband found amusing, but they also gave the rooms a spray for those pesky mossies. Not many mosquitoes in June and July, thankfully. The rooms were huge and there was a tv in each living area (2) and in each bedroom (2), so we had quite a choice between the 4 of us! In terms of restaurants, we at across the road and also at Balisanyi, a resort across the road at the beach. But our favourite was a Seminyak favourite as well - Naughty Nuri's. We found that we would need to get there early - around 6pm - to get a seat, otherwise you will have to queue for ages. Their speciality is ribs, which was just delicious. We had dinner there twice in a row! They have a great menu, extensive, great drinks menu and the waiting staff are very friendly. We ordered room service from the villa once, which wasn't too great, so I would suggest giving it a miss. Food was ordered from Kabul across the road and came in cold - I don' think they are used to catering for dinner. But that was the only downside. I would happily go back to the villa - just loved it!
I went there on 30th May 2014 with my brother, mum and my auntie's family. I booked this villa through a deals website just to try out having a vacation in a new place. The staff from the villa picked us up at the airport. When we reached there, we were greeted warmly and they answered our questions promptly. I informed them that later in the evening, we were thinking of visiting the Night Safari which was located at Bali Safari and Marine Park. At first, they were confused with a different Night Safari Package, but after explaining a few times to them, they finally understood and said that they will try to arrange the booking for us for that evening. After that, they brought us to our villa.
Upon entering the villa, we were quite amazed at the size and spaciousness of the villa. We were served "welcome drinks" which was very cooling and soothing, after having quite a long ride in the hot weather. They then told us to choose what we would like to have for breakfast. They guided us patiently through the menu and even gave us the assurance that if we requested for Halal breakfast, they will serve strictly Halal breakfast for us. (To which they did!!) They even gave us the WIFI password to use during our stay there. The air-con was also working perfectly throughout our whole villa, making us feeling cool in the villa although outside was very sunny.
After they settled us in, they left us to our privacy. While we were unpacking, I received a call from the main counter. At first, I thought there was a problem but then it was actually in regards to my Night Safari booking. They managed to make a booking for us for the same evening and even offered us transportation (with a fee, of course). I thanked them for the booking and nicely declined the transportation (as we had already arranged our own mode of transportation in advance). As my uncle had some friends there in Bali, he informed his friends of our location. And the staffs were very nice to actually escort our "guests" to our villa.
That night when we came back from our outing, the security guard greeted us. We asked for an iron and also for a plug. The security guard looked for it and sent it to our villa. We were surprised to see the villa in a tip top condition, seeing that when we left earlier in the afternoon, we kinda made a little mess here and there. They even pulled all the blinds down for us. That night, we decided to have a dip in our pool and we couldn't figure out where was the switch to the lights in the pool. When we called the main counter, the security guard himself came again and attended to us. He even informed us that if there's anything more that we need, we can just call him at the main counter.
The next day, breakfast was ready as promised. Even though it was just scrambled eggs and sausages, it was quite filling.
When we wanted to leave for our outing that day, they inquired about our flight details for going back and advised us of the timing and the jam they foresee. They were very helpful with the details.
When we checked out, their staff sent us back to the hotel. Before sending us back, we actually requested to make a few stops here and there and they obliged without complaining or sulking.
Overall, my stay there with my family was very enjoyable. They treated us like kings and queens and make us , their guests, feel special and appreciated. I will not hesitate to come here again to stay if I have the chance to visit Bali again.
Stayed for 3 nights and it was an enjoyable stay. Villa was nicely equipped, rooms were spacious and the pool was a relaxing place for us.
Staffs were friendly, helpful and they never failed to give you a smile. When we took a cab back, I noticed that the staff took down the vehicle number and I guess just in case if you left things behind they can help to trace.
Beach is not very clean and you can give a miss as compared to Kuta area. Walk out to Naughty Nuri (5-10 mins) for their pork ribs and do go early as about 7pm onwards you will be in the queue. If you are looking for massage recommend Bening massage but you need to book an appointment with them.
Overall I would said that it's a nice & quiet villa that you can relax and enjoy in the pool. Will consider going back again if I am back in Bali.
We stayed here at the end of April 2014. We were 2 teenage girls, 2 couples and a 10 year old boy.
The villa was perfect for us. It afforded us a great base from which to explore South Bali.
The villa was extremely spacious. On entering you have a passage with a room on the left and one on the right. The 2 girls took the smaller room (twin bedded) and a couple took the larger (king bed and great bathroom). After the passage is done there is the living area, dining (6 or 8 seater - I forget) and open plan kitchen. The first floor has another living are and the master bedroom suite.
The kitchen is fully equipped to cook in (we did not). The living area has a large flat screen TV and DVD / CD / USB / iPod player. There are a bunch of sofas and the entire space is with sliding doors that open into the garden area and deck and pool. The pool is small-ish but very adequate.
Breakfast is selected the night before and cooked for you by their very friendly staff. There is daily cleaning and an evening turndown.
The villa is maybe a 3-4 kilometer walk to the Jalan Petitengit hotspots of "Ku De Ta" and "Potato head" and many others. Taxis are available on call and for meter rates in maybe 5 mins from the reception.
The beach is maybe 50-100 meters from the hotel.
Great location, nice amenities, comfortable, spacious!
This was our first trip to Bali, a place we never thought we would ever go, but we are converted ! Stayed here in Feb 2014 for four nights with my in-laws. Everything from arranging a very comfortable and accommodating pick up at the airport to the departure was perfect. The staff were so lovely, discreet yet friendly. They could not do enough to help you, and the cleaning and cooking was top class. The villas are beautiful, modern and have everything you want plus more. The filtered water available was fantastic and the high ceilings, good size fridge and open spaces was welcomed. The pool is lovely, clean and nicely shaded in the afternoon. My only complaint, which we mentioned to the manager was that an extra step in the pool was required to assist you getting in or out of the pool.
A short walk to the beach for the most amazing sunsets, taxis and resturant were organised for us, as well as an excellent team of massage and beauty therapists were arranged to come to our villa.
We are already thinking of our next trip, and look forward to returning.
We booked this villa directly thru villa website for 3 nights @ $260AUD per night for three bedrooms. Positives: Brand new villa, modern with all the usuall inclusions and amenities (wifi, satellite tv in every room) fully staffed with maids, cook, security ect. Staff were very helpful, professional and welcoming.
This villa although looks directly out onto beach, is not beacfront, access to beach is via driveway to villas then 100m walk down laneway. Beach area very dirty compared to other parts. Potato head is a 10 min walk along beach, or there is a small warung style beach deck serving cocktails and light meals- Definately worth a look, even for a cocktail, snack and an awesome sunset.
A few minor negative issues identified are: A lack of outdoor furniture (only 2 pool lounges, no other outdoor furniture), safe not bolted down, pool lights not working ( requiring stff to have to come in nightly to fix) pool steps very high ( not suitable to those with mobility issues, very hard to get out of pool) no door bell for staff to ring before entering. Lack of information regarding services available at villa (transport to seminyak ect) small portions at breakfast (eg: one piece of bacon each) and lack of variety for breakfast, although well cooked, well presented and tasty. Although only small issues and easily rectified with further guests and feedback given. We would stay again and would recommend this villa if small issues are rectified for future stays. Mini mart, coffee shop and Naughty nuris warung is also within walking distance, great food and fantastic value for money
These villas are located at the northern part of Seminyak, right on the beach at Batu Belig. 6 if us stayed in a 3 bedroom villa, a mix of Bali newcomers and regulars.
The bedrooms were spacious, each with their own ensuite, and another separate toilet, making 4 bathrooms between 6 people. The villa was 2 storey with a separate living room and balcony upstairs which looked over the beach. Private pool with sun lounges, more if needed. And a butler who attended every morning at your request to cool breakfast in your own kitchen.
While the villa is away from the main parts of Seminyak (Oberoi etc) and from Legian / Kuta - it is no more than a few dollars to wherever you want to go, with a can arriving at your door once requested by reception. The staff happily arranged anything we wanted; taxi's, reataurant reservations, room service, extra anything, you name it.
While the bedrooms are air conditioned, the bathrooms and common areas aren't and, in the heat, can make some days unbearable and at times you must escape to your bedroom for a reprieve. The TV and wi-fi (which is free) had it's moments, but hey, it's Bali.
It was on par if not better than other villas I have stayed at and would happily return. Fabulous.
