I was craving for some mexican food when i was in bali. And i found this small restaurant just next lo Ling-Ling's. It was around 9 pm, so there was not many people in there. I ordered carnitas quesadillas and my friend ordered dirty rice. I don't know whether i was just starving or because this was the first meal i had in bali, but, THE QUESADILLAS WAS EXTREMELY GOOD! Believe me, it's totally worth a try!

I ate a taco local and had the pork soft shell tacos. Huge chunks of flavoursome pork, fresh coriander and delicious steamed tacos. A washed down with a fresh apple juice- just lovely! Pretty reasonable prices given the high quality of the food. Make sure you pay them a visit!

We went to taco local for dinner on a Tuesday night which happened to be 3 for the price of 2 tacos and buy one margarita get one free. We ended up with three beef, two chicken and one shoulder tacos and one chicken quesadilla- all of which were delicious.

The table was in the car park which appears to only be used during the day so there was no fear of being run over. The food came in good time and our drinks (fresh carrot/orange juice, two margaritas and a coke) were also brought out without delay.

The meal wasn't the cheapest we had in Bali but it certainly wasn't too pricey either. Happy staff, yummy food and ok value for money.

The only potential down side was the relatively loud bar next door. It wasn't a problem for us but you can see that if that place was a bit busier, taco local might be a little less child friendly.

Taco Local is a cute little taco joint in the heart of Petitenget. It offers tasty, no-frills Mexican fare at rather affordable prices.

The tacos are not as cheap as the place might suggest but the quality is fine. As mentioned before though, the quantity of food isn't too copious.

I'd recommend the place to friends, as long as they're not expecting anything too fancy - decor and food-wise.

We were meant to visit a different Mexican place but accidentally ended up here - I am so glad we did! It was absolutely amazing and really cheap for the quality. The pulled beef is to die for! We shared a nachos, quesadilla and burrito plus beers all for $25 aud.

Will be back and asking for a plate of that beef !!!
