New place decorated in a nouveau opulence style i.e. plastic chandeliers, white banquettes, a model thinker sculpture, interspersed with teddy bears?!?, seated amongst faux old style white painted wooden tables and chairs. But more importantly, the food – good. Lobster ceviche was a fresh treat, though gobbled up in three mouthfuls. Our friend’s lobster salad looked great, if a bit skint on the lobster side. Our crab asparagus soup and lobster risotto were pretty good. As for the drinks, they use Russian Standard vodka, which is decent, and they make their drinks with a good kick. Had something like a lobster gaspacho martini except with potato and peppers. A friend had a drink with gold flakes! Kinda fun for its over the topped-ness, in a bit of an odd environment.
