Description: On the secluded shoreline of Batu Belig beach, Chef James Ephraim brings the Mozaic food quality and culinary concept of Western cuisine influenced by South East Asian flavours to a more relaxed and affordable beachside brasserie setting. The ambience of the brasserie is informal, relaxed and contemporary with live DJs serving up the perfect soundtrack for your meal. Good food in Bistro though some items over priced and small portions compared to elsewhere. Great daily cockatail and beer specials, lovely pool, amazing day beds, right on the beach. Excellent service by staff. Good coffee with choice of beans (ask for extra hot or it may as well be iced coffee!). Chilled out music or DJ's. Genuinely relaxing environment and worth the walk to get there as not many others bother. Shame it itsn't more populated at night. We went one evening around 10:30 and we were the only people in the bar.
Nice shower if you end up staying all day & night or if you have a late flight & ned to check out of hotel early head to mozaic and have som loungy luxury on your last day & evening.

“Beautiful Setting Good Food but very Pricey”
Reviewed July 6, 2014

Went with partner on a Wednesday night there was only one other couple in restaurant, food presentation was excellent, bottle of wine was $80 which we didn't have a problem with. Food was good just got a unpleasant surprise when we got bill we were charged a extra $45 for service & tax fees, needless to say we did not leave a tip, bill came to $272 for 2 and I did not have a dessert, so I think for Bali its pretty expensive.
Would I go back no.

“Great Beach Club!”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

We had a day at Mozaic beach club on our honeymoon and it was perfect for what we wanted.

We loved the other beach clubs in the area; potato head and ku de ta but were looking for somewhere to go for a quiet day in the sun - We were staying at Berry Amour Villas nearby in Batu Belig, so thought we'd try Mozaic, it was exactly what we wanted!

We had drinks on our sunbeds and had tapas lunch which was perfect, the service was fab too.

“Seriously good food!”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

Me and my parents were longing for a good dinner while we're in Bali then a friend suggested us to try Mozaic. Located on Batu Belig beach (near Petitenget), the restaurant was a part of a beach club. From the moment we stepped in, everything was right. The decor was not too overly glam but it was nice. The staff was warm and unpretentious. And the food was almost perfect. As an Indonesian, I understand very much the frustration of being a chef in Indonesia - a very limited access to fresh meat and foreign delicacies, for example- yet Mozaic was able to deliver the best of what Bali's food market can offer. I had an amazing risotto but probably what I loved the most were the amuse bouche. The chef went a great length to entertain our taste buds with his amazing collections of amuse bouche. This restaurant is not cheap, expect to pay around USD$50-$100/person (A-la-Carte menu) but you will not disappointed. Oh yes, do call beforehand to reserve your seat.

After seeing signs for Mozaic for two weeks we finally decided to go there on our last day. Why did we wait so long!!
A great location right on the beach. Various seating options as well as lounge options and a pool. A great selection of drinks and food too all served by happy and helpful staff.
Very happy to have found such a place with out being over crowded like some of the similar 'named' places in bali.
