Description: On the secluded shoreline of Batu Belig beach, Chef James Ephraim brings the Mozaic food quality and culinary concept of Western cuisine influenced by South East Asian flavours to a more relaxed and affordable beachside brasserie setting. The ambience of the brasserie is informal, relaxed and contemporary with live DJs serving up the perfect soundtrack for your meal. We have been to Mozaic Ubud twice before, so were keen to check out their new addition at Seminyak (although I believe the official address is Kerobokan).

There was a special Christmas day menu, for both adults and children, and we booked around a month in advance.

Upon arrival we were greeted by professional staff and a special Santa for the day.

We went to the upstairs restaurant which has been magnificently decorated and has great views over the ocean.

The meals were absolutely outstanding, and the service was professional and friendly. I can't overstate the quality of produce, creativity and satisfaction. We all finished and were agreed that it was one of the best meals ever. A great experience.

We then retired to the pool for the rest of the afternoon, had further drinks and stayed on for a great tapas dinner downstairs.

Far superior to Potato Head, Cocoon etc and with a less pretentious crowd.

We will definitely be back.

We stumbled into Mozaic from the beach after hearing that it was a good beach bar/restaurant. We asked for a table for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and although there were none immediately available, I could see that 2 tables were paying their bills. The staff told us that there were no tables for 4 and suggested we share the other end of a bigger table with a smoking group. Thankfully the paying table right behind where we had been standing vacated and we moved there shortly after we sat down.

We had to get the staff's attention to ask for menus and then to order. When the food came it was okay. Nothing to write home about. We also had to get their attention constantly for drinks and the bill.

Wouldn't rush back as there are so many other good places in Bali. Perhaps they were just having an off day but none of the staff on the floor seemed particularly interested in serving us.

Dear Mozaic Beach Club Guest,

Thanks a lot for taking your time to review our new venue on the beach and for your comments. We are very sorry that we were not able to please you, we are taking on board your remarks and we will try our best to improve our services.

I believe you visited us during the very busy Christmas holidays, when we were really very busy, with everyone willing to come and try our new restaurant on the beach. I’m personally very sorry that our staff didn’t pay the necessary attention to your needs. We have since then re-briefed the staff and we will continue working on our training procedures to make sure that such issues will not happen again.

The Mozaic Beach Club lounge, the area where you were sitting, facing the most amazing sunset of the island, offers an all day poolside tapas, a friendly lunch menu and hearty afternoon delights paired with mixologists’ signature concoctions in a relaxed, sophisticated environment, with sunset DJ sessions around the pool overlooking the beach. This menu is designed to accommodate everyone providing lighter and easier food, for a light lunch or an afternoon snack and it rotate regularly, so hopefully on your next visit we will be able to satisfy your tastes with something new and different.

The stunning dining room at the first floor of Mozaic Beach Club, is an elegant dining option with unobstructed views over the Indian Ocean where an a la carte menu, based on Mozaic philosophy of blending local flavors with modern French cuisine, is served.

Thank you once again for sharing your point of view with our readers, I am sorry we were not able to please you entirely and my team and I will continue working hard in our efforts to please every Mozaic Beach Club customer.

We booked Mozaic before we arrived in Bali for Christmas lunch with our family of 4. Having eaten in Ubud, we were keen to try the newish beach venue.
Everything about our day here was memorable. In an out of the way location - by car anyway (it's almost next door to the W hotel walking along the beach though...), we weren't quite sure what to expect as we approached along a dirt road.
The Christmas menu was fantastic - 2 choices for the adults and set menu for the kids - everything was amazing - food, ambience, service, view. We loved the roaming magician - the boys were amazed at his tricks, and we thought it was a nice touch to have something special to entertain children on Christmas Day.
After lunch we moved down to the pool and our large cabana, where we stayed for hours relaxing and swimming. We certainly hadn't intended to stay for dinner, but were having such a great time, it just happened!! Amazing location for sunset, cocktails and tapas style, more casual dinner right by the beach.
We had a very memorable day here and will definitely be back...

Having eaten at Mozaic, Ubud previously, we knew the Beach Club would be worth a visit and booked during our stay in Sanur. The taxi drive was approximately 30 minutes, but the traffic is generally pretty slow, so best to allow more time. We ate upstairs in the restaurant - the decor is dazzling - similarly the table decor including the place settings, cutlery etc. However, the decor of the private dining room and the shop is very much over the top - could appeal to some, but it doesn't have the sophistication of the general dining area. However, the food and service were both stand-out quality. We decided on a la carte as the degustation menu was relatively expensive in comparison and didn't appeal so much that evening. The presentation and service of the meal was matched by the taste. The food was excellent. We can definitely recommend it.
