“Almost like Home”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Originating from Munich where beer gardens are spread all over the city, I would like to say that discovering Little Bavaria was a great experience and pleasure.
Although the place is often quiet, which must relate to the fact that German food is not as fashionable to Locals and Visitors like let's say Italian and Mexican food, Little Bavaria delivers what it promises. A nice beer garden atmosphere where very friendly staff is serving you pretty good German, or allow me to say, Bavarian fare.
Yes, there are some Indonesian dishes as well, but come on, you don't go to a beer garden and ask for Nasi Goreng(Fried Rice).
Little Bavaria even offers the 1 liter beer glass. With Bintang beer yes, but one can't have everything right?!
It's also a great place for breakfast though I prefer the evenings there. Hanging out with good friends. Prost!

“Order the Western food”
Reviewed September 4, 2012 via mobile

We stopped here as it was one if the few places we passed that had indonesian food at reasonable prices.
The Nasi Campur was very dry, & the beef rendang is definitely not to best we have had and was cold in the middle ofthe dish. On the upside, the food is reasonably priced and the mojitos were nice.
If you do come here we would suggest the western food as the past reviews have commented on.

“Little Gem”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

As mentioned by the previous review, this place realy is a good find. We visited Bali in May 2012, & found this place on our walk to the beach. The restaurant is a lovey open air place, looks fantastic at night, very clean & staff are fantatstic. Normally I wouldn't have gone in as I only eat fish, but my husband was keen on some sauerkraut & sausage. I was pleasantly surprised to find they also have many fish dishes on the menu & it is all fresh. The food is realy good & the price is realy cheap. We ended up going back quite afew times. This place is also good value if you have young children & find it difficult going out to restaurants. We have a 3yr old & a 41/2yr old who find it hard to sit down for too long.Because of the layout of this place they were able to wander around on the lawn area keeping themselves entertained & the staff were also fantastic in keeping an eye on them whilst we enjoyed our dinner.

“Yummy Sausages !!!”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

I really wonder how come this place hasn't got a review as yet.
We were planning to go 'The Samaya' for dinner but before we did so, we happened to notice this restaurant which is very close to the samaya and thought of at least stopping for a beer.
The restaurant was absolutely empty with not a single patron. But the reason we stepped in was coz the place looked beautiful.
Before we could order the beer, we were told that for 45,000 Rp we could order a sausage platter and a beer. Sounded like a deal and we did order the platter. And trust me those sausages were to die for. The best I've had so far. And I'm glad we stopped in this place and didn't judge it by lack of patrons.
The bartender told me that it was a fairly new place, just 6 months old. But the place was very well done, neat and spread over a large area.
If u decide to go to this place, start walking from The Samaya towards the road which leads to the potato head. After you walk about a 100 meters you'd see a small massage parlor on your right. A few meters ahead, you'd reach a point where you'd have to either take a left or a right to follow the road.... Take the right and this restaurant should be on your left.
