My family dropped in here for dinner on a wet night.....arrived just before sundown.........this place looks sensational at this time.
Located on the busy Kerobokan rd amongst stone carving shops, you walk in through a leafy entrance and are confronted by a rice paddy vista from the seating area.
We eat early, and on the night we were there it was quiet........has been this way at a few restaurants lately.....maybe low season??
The menu is mainly Balinese/indo menu which is what we were after. Everyone ordered from the "special bebek" menu....and "crispy" rather than grilled. The food was really very good....very tasty, but something that I have noticed with crispy duck, is that more often than not the duck dish ends up a little dry and "light on". The serving portions are a 1/2 duck....I asked, but it is difficult to see this on the plate. Again.....I have noticed this at several restaurants. Maybe the other dishes on the menu may have been better choices for us.....Balinese chicken curry etc.
Service was excellent, and when we were there a three piece band started up which was amusing.
