This restaurant has an absolutely beautiful location. Set in a rice paddy, and decorated with umbrellas & soft lighting, the restaurant feels quite intimate. The terrace has cane lounges for drinks and casual dining, & the restaurant tables sport crisp, white linen cloths. Female staff wear white pants & tops with colourful belts, whilst males wear traditional, colourful pants & white shirts. The service is impeccable. We started with yummy cocktails & our water glasses were topped up constantly. A basket with varieties of breads was welcome.
The decor is Balinese minimalist & setting is magical. Bamboo fans keep the air moving on this very humid night, and a sudden downpour only added to the ambience.
Our meals were divine and included sashimi & barramundi Asian style, with fabulous deserts. Highly recommended (but make sure you book in advance).

We did not come with a reservation and wanted a table with a good view, so decided to grab a drink first to wait for a table to be open (we stayed b/c we loved the trendy upbeat atmosphere). They seated us for drinks at a fun lounge right next to the beautiful field of rice paddies. The drink menu was extensive and delicious. Our dinner was amazing, my husband and I both ordered suggestions from our server. We usually debate "who ordered best" and concluded it was a tie, with both entrees being delicious and a perfect serving size. Service was great, atmosphere was fun and beautiful, definitely recommend.

An unassuming restaurant with hidden beauty, from the moment you walk in your wow'd by the ambience with tiered dinner overlooking the lit rice paddies. Greeted and led to your table Sardine is a well oiled service machine...we've never felt so important in a busy restaurant!! But that was just the start...the menu was full of dishes we'd love to indulge in but finally settled for what turned out to be 'the best' dishes we've had during any of our travels at home in Australia. The seafood is incredible fresh and perfectly cooked, but also accompanied with some of the most amazing and complimentary flavours which made each and every bite perfect. Following dinner we were led to a more relaxed table on the edge of the rice paddies where could enjoy the view, each other's company and the amazing desserts ever!! We will without a doubt be sharing this restaurant with all of our friends and family so they can enjoy what we were lucky enough to experience. Sardine we will be back...

Finally tried the food here as it's always busy.. twice with different selection and none of them blew me away, service is good though. Wasn't even expecting much for the food but still.

Setting with rice paddies view & fish pond. Recommend booking in advance especially Fri & Sat nights.
Only draw back restaurant is not child friendly as there was no provision for a high chair and it was very hard to eat our dinner.
We had to take turns to eat out meals/holding the baby.
Kind of ruined our experince
