“Fantastic food and service with a stunning view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2013

Fantastic lunch with excellent service and a stunning view of a large well kept rice paddies
The menu was so diverse and I settled for two entrees which was garnished beautifully and presented like a piece of art, just stunning,I felt guilty eating and destroying the presentation but at the same time couldn't wait to sample the food
It's a must do while in Bali, will defiantly go back on the next trip
The restaurant owns the rice paddies and donates the crop to an orphanage

“Beautiful Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2013

This place is extremely beautiful and a nice place to eat. I came for lunch so it wasn't quite that crowded. I read the reviews on this site and was a bit hesitant at first but after chowing down I never looked back.

But I do see why some people complain, the food here isn't salty, if you used to heavily salty food then it will taste bland. Just put some salt, pepper, or hot sauce. I am sure if they put more salt, then there will be a lot of complaints of the food being too salty, which is not easily correctable. I personally did add a little salt, but I do like to taste whatever it is I am eating.

Sardine restaurant is well worth a visit if you are in Seminyak area. The setting is beautiful overlooking a rice paddy with geese wandering around. The food is delicious too mainly seafood .Meals are light and not too heavy, nice choice of breads too.Table setting is simple, tasteful and fits in with surrounding nature.

“This place is WOW!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

Ate there recently with my wife, 2 children, another couple & their 2 children, celebrating one of the kid's 18th birthdays. This was my second visit to Sardine, just as good as the first, this place is pretty special. The food is presented beautifully & is delicious, while being reasonably priced &
the setting is outstanding.

We loved it.
