Description: MÉTIS Restaurant, Lounge and Gallery is a sensory dining experience that embraces the sheer pleasures of living. With the recently opened lounge and beautiful garden, MÉTIS brings High Tea to a whole other level, a must try if you visit Bali. Flawless service in one of Bali's most elegantly sophisticated settings is just the beginning of this seduction into the depths of the five senses. MÉTIS is as fresh and sumptuous as the cuisine that graces its tables.

Metis lives up to it's reputation with a divine setting, attentive staff and exquisite food. Catering for vegetarians (a rare find!), coupled with offering an extensive menu, it will fail to disappoint even the most discerning food critic. The mixology of the cocktails were impressive, the Royal Margarita made lovingly with the finest Patron Agave was a delicious way to start the evening. We have eaten all over the island, and along side St Regis, Teatro, Metis was a highlight. Highly recommended.

A beautiful location and a menu that leaves you spoilt for choice. We had a wonderful night out at Metis with our two young children and enjoyed our delicious meals. The restaurant has a beautiful setting and lovely staff and we managed to get a table early enough for our children to enjoy the experience. The only downside was that my first and second choice of mains could not be delivered as they didn't have the ingredients, my third choice did however deliver the experience I had hoped the first two would. Note - no children's menus, although most children would enjoy the dishes on offer - we were lucky that the two could share a main course.

Unlike poor Craig I found Metis anything but 'crap' when we dined there last night.
The setting is stunning and the water garden full of waterlilies is beautiful and quite stunning at night. The service from well trained staff was fast, attentive, friendly and efficient. The food was world class and is comparable with fine dining restaurants in Sydney, London and New York at half the price. The hot Foie Gras drunk with a glass of desert wine was brilliant, the fish for mains was perfectly cooked, and the deserts absurdly good. Excellent wine list, the shoe experience was around $220 AUS for two people. We will visit the sister restaurant, Sardine, soon.

I've been to Metis on a number of times when holidaying in Bali over the last few years and it's still just as good. I love the lobster ravioli and duck confit, great cocktails and the beautiful location. I always book online (you can even read the current menu on the website). If you love French food in a Balinese setting you will love it.

We enjoyed some aspects of Metis, but the food didn't deliver. Good coffee, and handmade bread was good. Nice location
