Description: MÉTIS Restaurant, Lounge and Gallery is a sensory dining experience that embraces the sheer pleasures of living. With the recently opened lounge and beautiful garden, MÉTIS brings High Tea to a whole other level, a must try if you visit Bali. Flawless service in one of Bali's most elegantly sophisticated settings is just the beginning of this seduction into the depths of the five senses. MÉTIS is as fresh and sumptuous as the cuisine that graces its tables.

Had a great night here at Metis - absolutely beautiful setting and decor, great cocktails, food is delicious but a little more expensive compared to other restaurants in Bali. Must go if in Bali

Metis is on our list of must-go restaurants whenever we are in Bali. The food is outstanding, and never disappoints. Not the cheapest, but excellent value for money. We generally have very pleasant experiences there, but were a little disappointed this time when when our party got stuck in a corner table near the kitchen. It was hot and poorly ventilated (although they did come with a fan eventually). Would recommend that if you make a booking for a group of 4 or more, ask for a table nearer to the lotus ponds or central courtyard, rather than on the inside as it can get stuffy. Book early as well, as the place packs out, high season or otherwise.

While traveling in Bali, we dined at Metis for my husband's birthday. It was a very enjoyable evening in a really outstanding setting. Our view over the lily pond was serene and our food was well prepared. The staff was attentive but not in the way. Overall, a great dining experience at a reasonable (by US standards) price.

Metis is not cheap by bali standards but the food here is excellent. All the food we had and also saw at other tables was of the highest quality and of a level we would struggle to pay for at home.
The venue is also excellent opening out over a large pond full of lotus flowers.

What a fantastic menu with spectacular wines at reasonable prices. The foie gras was stunning and the lamb rack was moist and delicious. We just had to try one of the soufflés as we saw them go past many times to other tables. We had the raspberry one which was just heaven in a bowl. We also had a cheese plate which was equally as nice, the only pick I could have is that they served water crackers with the cheese, but with the culinary talents I would have expected home made lavosh or something similar. Can't wait to go back!!
