“Good Indonesian cuisine”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

When we arrived it was fully booked, so make sure you book ahead , not to be disappointed . But staff was very helpful and welcoming, sowe were luvky to be seated in 15 min. Great food, my husband loved their special for this week - chicken apricot tagine. I had fish rica-rica , which was a bit spicy for my liking, bug still was well cooked. It is nice atmosphere , lots of staff to assist you. Most likely we will come here again.

“Always a good feed in interesting room”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

We keep coming back for either High Tea, lunches or just a cup of tea from their outstanding collection. Great staff are always helpful and pleasant and food preparation and presentation is first rate. Recommend that a reservation is always made, to avoid disappointment.

“Average food but great atmosphere”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Housed in a old building, with hanging chandeliers, antique furniture, the deco is great.

Tried the asian afternoon tea and Indonesian dishes, quality of food is just passable.

Service is good as staffs are attentive.

Only ate here thrice because of proximity to The W and KAYANA where I stayed in on 2 occasions.

“Very good restaurant and reasonable prices”

Ate here 2 nights with my wife. They have a good Indonesian menu, as well as Aussie/western food. Great dessert selection too. Get the carrot cake!

Everyone had told me to check out Biku and I am very glad we made a reservation the night before as it really is a popular place. Try the asian high tea for 2 as the flavours are superb. The ice teas are delicious and of course the cocktails are as well. and working out at roughly $8 between too for the food and not much more the drinks it truly is an inexpensive treat.
Apparently there are tarot readers on some days - not when i was there - but that sounds like another fun way to enjoy the day there. If you can you should.
