Biku location is near the W hotel.the place is cozy and clasic. I order nasi campur biku and nasi satay. The taste is nice.
The restaurant is full booked everyday, so if you want to eat there, you must reserve a day before.
There is a tarrot reading in that resto, cost IDR 100k for 15 minutes.

I came here on the recommendation of the owner of the guesthouse where I was staying. It was just me but the one dish that I had, beef rendang and the fresh mango juice was awesome, at an excellent price. I will definitely come back so I can try other choices off the menu.

It's a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner, easy walking distance from The Legian, W Retreat & Spa, The Kayana and many other hotels along that strip of Seminyak. Great value for money compared to other restaurants in that area. Their Huevos Rancheros rock!

The Feel -

It's hard to believe this little gem of a place is less than 2 years old as it has that feeling of a rich, steeped heritage the moment you walk through the indigenously, hand-carved wooden doorway. The red wooden interior, the ornaments, the books, drapery, lighting, little knick-knacks sprinkled around the place; all these details give it the feeling of an early 20th Century home or tavern, as if your grandma was just about to emerge from some corner and say "Hey, I just baked your favourite cake!" It's a home away from home and I ate there a few times within the same week.

The Food-

The food is consistent and delicious. The owner Asri says their menu was created to be 'Tropical Comfort Food' and it sure is that. Certainly one of the most well-rounded I have experienced without the all too common mistake of being too long or complicated. Menus with this much diversity are normally pages and pages long and take an age to read through - not the case here. This menu spans East to West culinary delights, from Sirloin steaks (under 10 dollars) to Spaghetti Bolognese, from Pad Thai to Dhal and Indian Lamb Curries to all day Breakfasts and an extensive High Tea menu. There is so much choice for virtually any mood or craving and yet it feels concise and to the point. The desserts are surprisingly robust. Carrot cake never tasted this good. Ask for a scoop of vanilla ice-cream to be added for a little heavenly gluttony. There are lots of cakes, brownies and pies to choose from. These go beautifully with the oversized cappuccinos and Masala Chai.

The Service –

The staff like being there. It shows. While it can be a little tough to get someone’s attention at times sitting outside due to the restaurant being busy, they are on the ball and clearly enjoy being a part of Biku. They always greet with a smile and are very warm and polite. Little touches like promptly clearing away finished dishes, serving a table their food all at the same time rather than one person at a time and bringing little towels in aromatic water to your table to refresh yourself after meals make for a very enjoyable experience. Make sure you book ahead for dinner if you are a group though to avoid disappointment.

Ambiance –

The ambiance is cosy and homely and simply ‘feels’ good. It's soaked in good energy. With a great selection of music playing in the background to lift your spirits and some beautiful live acts to embellish the evening on Saturday nights (chiefly soulful live Spanish guitar) this is a very difficult place to just ‘eat and run’ from. One facet compliments another seamlessly and the experience is greater than the sum of its parts.

With the plethora of restaurants opening up it can be difficult to choose where to dine in Bali, especially with a limited stay but you owe it to yourself to have a Biku experience because it's a special place. The owner Asri is almost always there making sure everything is up to scratch and all for a price that's far more modest than the value you will receive time and time again.
