If you enjoy spicy foods, you will love Sarong. I recommend ordering the chicken betel leaf - amazing, intense spice. I've been here 4 or 5 times now an have not had a bad experience once. Love, love, love this place!

Reservation system on their website was efficient even if the only table available was 8:45pm. The table was ready on arrival and well located. Great atmosphere and decor. Employees are polite and helpful. We received assistance to choose our dishes to share. Our server was a bit pushy by serving large helping or he was just scared to being asked for wine service :-). The food was nice, pork belly "mouah". You will pay 5* standard. Overall good experience with friends.

Have heard so many wonderful things about Sarong so decided to do a date night with the hubby. I had booked a table for two a couple of months ago requesting a romantic table, if possible. When we arrived we were shown to our table which was stuck against a big mirror towards the back of the restaurant. With the weather being so warm it would have been nicer to sit near to or in the garden. Sadly we did not have any airflow around our table which made it extremely warm. When we did ask to move the staff were very happy to move us to the next table along.
Enough of the negative for now. The staff were very attentive and polite, happy to make suggestions for meals as this was our first time to Sarong.
My husband started with the Pork Belly, which was massive (suggest sharing this with 2 to 3 people) and I had scallops. We then shared two main courses the chicken kebab which was delicious and the stir fried chicken with capsicum and chilli. (Sorry don't have the names from the menu). The stirfry I felt was mainstream, wouldn't recommend this.
As the stirfry was late coming out of the kitchen the manager was very apologetic and gave us a dessert for free. Totally wasn't necessary as we hadn't noticed it being late.
Overall it was a lovely evening, but not sure if we would come again. My husband has been laid up in bed all day as he has spent the night and day in the bathroom. Not sure what has caused this but he very unwell.
The restaurant it self is totally gorgeous.

As a frequent visitor to Bali our quest is to dine at the best by getting local referrals, Sarong didn't do it for us unfortunately. The surrounds are spectacular when you walk in, we sat at the bar waiting for our table watching the bar staff make some wonderful cocktails getting excited about this experience then with the food we were extremely disappointed, our Duck was dry and over cooked, Lamb Curry was bland but as always in Bali the service is great. Cannot Recommend

This restaurant is worth visiting if you visit Seminyak. The restaurant has a good asian cuisine, a good variety of cocktails and a great ambiance.
