Booked a dinner seating for 6:30 here for our first night in Bali. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table within a few minutes. Decor reminded me of an old school style Boudoir mixed with a contemporary bali furninshing. Staff were very attentive and made sure you always had a drink filled. We tried a fair few cocktails but the ones i can remember were the Polish Donkey, The Mango and Pomegranate Mojito and the Rockstar (among others) - all were equally as refreshing and tasty at around $12 each. Entrees came between $7-$11 and offered some south east asian delights. We had the Pork Belly (you MUST try this - no excuses) and the salt and pepper squid. Staff were a pleasure to talk with and offered some great recommendations. Mains were between $10-$20 and from the very vast selection we tried the Vietnamese caramelised duck, butter chicken and naan bread. Mains were exceptional and left us feeling very full and satisfied. At this point we thought we might need to roll out the door so could not fit any dessert in (a real shame because the dessert menu looked deliciously appealing!). Final bill came to around $160 (please note all my prices are converted to AUD - the Sarong menu is in Rupiah). For a meal (and multiple cocktails) similar to the quality and quantity of this in Australia would set you back $300 easily. I cannot wait to go back to Sarong to try the other dishes on the menu. A restaurant worth visiting!
