I am quite surprised about the reviews about Seraya Shores because we didn't have such a great experience.
We stayed in the Loft 3 nights in December 2012 in. The villa looked nice and spacious but there was no dark curtains for the night and we didn't sleep well. There were so many mealybugs on the terrace that we could not use the sofa there.
The pool was nice and offered a perfect view to the beach... and to garbage lying nearby.
The staff was not so friendly and poorly trained and it was difficult to find someone in charge because there was no reception desk. (We found out that the kitchen serves as reception).
A good point though: the food was excellent and we enjoyed being in a quiet and lovely place.
I would like to know how much happy Seraya Shores guests paid. I would probably have been satisfied if I hadn't pay 125 US $ per night. (I booked through Seraya Shore website). We stayed in more hotels around Bali. Given the comfort and service, I feel like like I should have paid half.
