Ujung Water Palace is a beautiful park with big fish pond surrounds the old Karangasem Empire heritage building which is used by the Karangasem's King for day relaxation or meeting place in their era. It is located in Ujung Countryside east part of Bali.

Go inside the palace viewing for historic old picture hanged on wall.

We were travelling without a guide book so it was a delightful surprise to come upon these gardens as we made our way - oh how slowly! - to the north east coast of Bali. Built about 100 years ago by the Dutch for the district's 'king', they now comprise two pavilions, one for family and one for visitors, plus a grand staircase it was too hot to climb, and beautiful gardens. You could easily spend a few hours there, and there are stalls outside with snacks and drinks. There were very few tourists there when we went, but a lot of locals, and it's clearly a popular outing. Foreigners pay 20000 rupiah (£1 approx) and also a few pence for parking, but unless you're on the tightest of budgets I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Pretty drab place. Watch out for locals wanting to 'show you around' they will want tips and won't be satisfied with less than R100,000

The history, the water pools, the design and the workmanship make this place an amazing experience.
You have the ability to walk on stepping stones through one of the pools, very enjoyable on a hot humid day.
The gardens are beautiful and the statues are cultural and historic, I recommend this to any traveler to Bali

Some people went for a swim for an additional nominal fee like 10k idr . The gardens are beautiful . I think the entrance fee was like 10k as well.
