drive from seminyak was about 2 hours, got caught up in a ngaben ceremony along the way, got lost for a good half an hour, after all that well i can say that it was worth it. the sands are clean , great place to have a swim or just relax. hope this place will remain pristine and isolated for the near future. tips: you can drive ur car all the way to the beach parking area, and of course bring your own towel. warung there offered cheap drinks and foods (coconut for $2)

Great beach and food at Gustis relax warung. The beach is great and the ocean clean. The food at Gusti"s was very tasty with the Tuna steak the BEST we had anywhere in Bali and beyond. It was easy to relax ,lazing on the beach chairs and forgetting about the rest of the world and it's troubles.

Situated just beyond Candi Dasa on the east coast of Bali is White Sand beach. The beach is named so because it is more common in this area of Bali to find black sand because of the volcanic activity. This beach has become more popular but it still a great place to relax and read, swim, doze, have a massage and eat. A must go for a lazy day!

The land behind this pristine beach has been bought up by a Singaporean interest with a plan to create a golf course and resort. Golf lawns mean fertilizer and pesticide runoff and that will only damage the beautiful reef, one of Bali's finest.

Snorkeling is great here, and even on days of big surf, you can swim out past the break and just enjoy being in such an uspoiled spot.

Vast array of seafood warungs but not one Coca Cola umbrella in sight. Enterprising locals are doing what they can to get a little money before they have to work as waiters and chambermaids at the soon-to-be-another-unneeded-development hotel. So rent a beach chair, order a fresh coconut, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. No other place quite like it in all Bali.

Beautiful sandy beach, clean and clear blue water. Its very relaxing place to spent a whole day. We're going on one day trip since we drove from kuta area, about two hours to get there. When we was there the weather was perfect, the sun is not to hot, the sky is very clear and the beach was very inviting. We're sitting in one of the warungs (beside 'made's' warung) and order some seafood and fried rice it was delicious. Best to order it as soon as you arrive, since it take an hours to get the food ready. We're travel there at the low season so it's very quiet with olny some tourist. Highly recommended.
